kristen bell is super sexy. you should all be posting pics of her.

and it costs at minimum of like 5 million to advertise a movie, so the budget is going to be at least 10.

Got Kevin Smith telling me it costed twice the budget of filming to advertise his movies since Dogma. But iono, who knows.

Actually just read that they plan on getting no money whatsoever from the studio but I call BS why would Warner Bros. need to green light it.

Warner Bros own Veronica Mars so they have to sign off on it being used for a movie. I am sure that they will get some money from Warner Bros, can't see them not chipping something in.

They have opened it up to Canadians as well but nothing for the rest of the international fans. This thing just keeps climbing, approaching $3.5 million now after three days. If they can figure out a way to allow international donors them I am sure they will gain a fair bit one.

One thing to note though is that currently there are around 50k people that have donated, pretend that doubles by the end of this campaign and so makes it 100k. If 10 times that many went to see the movie it would only make $10 million.

If Whedon was such a god, you would spell his name right.

Boom!

Ok good one! But American spellings are dumb, it would have an l if he was British and thats how it should be spellt.

American spelling is dumb? Superiority complex much?

Sure English was invented by the English, but I can't understand a single one of them outside of the supposed "posh" people who don';t sound like a Monty Python skit tbh.

tskj tsk tsk Keith....way to drum up sore subjects.

I always get confused whether its us or you who spell it with a u, but if you say its you, think I might have to edit my essay....

It's "or" in the US and "ous" in the commonwealth nations.

Atleast, that's the way I've been spelling it my whole life.

They are now trying to break the record for most backers in Kickstarter history. The record is 87,142 set by Double Fine Adventure and Veronica Mars currently has 68,056. They have added a $1 reward level to try to break that record. Only eight days left and I can't see them making it. Still whatever happens they are over $4.5 million so they have enough to make an okay movie.
