1. Strike System
The strike system provides UWF members with a few opportunities to prove to us that if you've broken a rule in the past, it won't be a reoccurring trend. To view whether you have a strike to your name, scroll to the bottom of this thread.

A. If you do not post for a match, you will recieve a strike. The first strike results in a warning. The second strike will result in a 30 day "suspension". You will not be booked, promos will not be used. You will essentially recieve the Chris Benoit treatment for 30 days. A third strike will result in a 90 day ban from UWF. I don't care about the reason, unless I'm told earlier, there will be no exceptions.

B. If you return from a ban and break another rule after only having 1 strike lifted, you will again be banned from UWF.

C. If you do not break a UWF rule for a period of time that is again under the discretion of the Owner(s), a strike will be lifted.

D. The general punishment for breaking a UWF rule is just 1 strike, but if the Owner(s) deem it to be severe, it is likely you will receive a 2nd strike for your actions.

2. Character Selection/Switching
To become a member of UWF, contact a member of staff via a Personal Message (PM). To view who is in charge, direct your attention to the UWF Staff thread.

A. When you have chosen your desired character(s), there will be a 45 day contract agreement. If you drop or switch your character(s) within this time frame, you must wait the full 45 days to join up again. For example, if you join UWF and drop the character after 20 days, you must wait a further 25 days before you will be allowed to join again. Failure to follow this may result in a strike, handed out via the discretion of the Owner(s).

3. Posting
In UWF, we do what is referred to as "trash talking". Basically, you and your opponent have a back-and-forth argument as to why you will be victorious in your match. It's quite simple, but if you'd like to learn more, feel free to read through the various trash talking threads in UWF, or even ask members for advice. However, you may roleplay if you wish.

A. In a multi-man match, which ranges from Triple Threats and above, you may not post then immediately post after just 1 opponent has. You must wait until everybody has posted before you may post again, unless a certain order has been specified by your Head Writer(s). If you break this rule, it is under the discretion of the Owner(s) whether you shall receive 1 strike or not.

B. There is no posting length in UWF, but if your opponent has posted short, then the considerate thing to do is to do the same. Some members may have the ability to post long, but length isn't a factor when deciding who wins a match, rather it is the quality of your posts. If you break this rule, it is under the discretion of the Owner(s) whether you shall receive 1 strike or not.

4. Multi-Character Privileges
They are exactly what they are, a privilege. They are a big responsibility and are not easy to pull off, which is why you must be a former champion before you are deemed worthy of this privilege.

A. When you have chosen your 2nd character(s), there will be a 60 day contract agreement before you are allowed to switch characters again. If you drop your character(s) within this time frame, you must wait the full 60 days to join up again. So for example, if you drop the character(s) after 30 days, you must wait a further 30 days before you will be allowed to use this privilege again.

B. You may have a maximum of two characters, unless specified. You may either have two singles characters, or one single and one tag team. Your character(s) cannot be on the same brand. For example, your singles character is on Raw and your tag team is on Smackdown.

5. Leave of Absence (LOA)
If you are unable to post as your character(s) due to real life commitments, or if you would just like a break from trash talking, please contact the Head Writer(s) for your brand(s). Only do this if you will be absent for more than 2 weeks as it provides the Head Writer(s) with the opportunity to write your character off the show(s) until you return.

A. If you do not contact your Head Writer(s) of your absence, and as a result do not post in any form for 2 weeks, you will be deemed to have broken rule 3A. The specified punishment will apply.

B.If you inform the Head Writer(s) that you will not be able to post as of a certain date, you are still expected to post until that date. For example, if you inform the Head Writer(s) of your absence on a Tuesday, but it doesn't come into effect until Sunday, you're still expected to post until Sunday. There is no punishment for this; rather it's just common courtesy to your opponents and writers.

C. If you specify that you're absent for a long period of time, which could range from 3 months or longer, it is common courtesy to drop your character(s) and allow someone else to play them. If you wish for us to hold onto your character(s) while you're absent, we will, but if you're absent for a further week after the return date, it is to the discretion of the Owner(s) whether or not you remain as your character(s).

6. Complaints
If you have any complaints or concerns regarding anything UWF related, please contact Aniking via a Private Message.

A. There is to be no public complaining or abusing of any UWF member. If your offense is deemed to be light, it is under the discretion of the Owner(s) whether you shall receive 1 strike or not. If your offense is deemed to be severe, your punishment ranges from 2 strikes to 3 strikes, which may mean a ban from UWF.

B. UWF is for fun, although we do encourage healthy competition. An example of healthy competition is if you voice your confidence on an upcoming match or give a friendly verbal jab towards your future opponent. An example of unhealthy competition is if you continue to drop sly or immature comments regarding a match result or a separate issue. If you break this rule, it is under the discretion of the Owner(s) whether you shall receive 1 strike or not.

7. Championships
There are various levels of championships in UWF, quite like in the WWE, and if you become a champion than you should view it as a reward for your efforts.

A. If you currently hold a championship and have decided to leave UWF or will be LOA, you must inform your Head Writer(s) of your decision via a PM. This is to ensure no result is spoilt to the public, and therefore your match result will not become obvious. If you break this rule, you will receive 1 strike. If you're LOA, it is under the discretion of your Head Writer(s) whether you will remain as champion.

Please make sure you follow these rules to ensure that UWF is run as efficiently as possible. If you have any questions, please contact an Owner.
