The ref warns Christian not to do it again to no avail, as Christian is on the offensive. He follows with a quick kick to the gut, and lefts and rights driving Jericho back into the turnbuckle. A couple body shots and another kick to the gut follows as Christian is trying to stay on Jericho early and often as possible. He pulls Jericho out of the corner in a headlock, as he connects with a spinning neck breaker that brings Jericho down to the mat with a thud.
King: Christian knows if he wants to win this match he's going to have to not let Jericho breath, this is smart by Captain Charisma!
Christian goes for the first cover of the match.
.......1
Christian delivers a kick to Jericho's head, then slaps him yelling at him to get up! Christian smirks as the fans boo him, grabbing Jericho by his Goldilocks, and bringing him to his feet. They're face to face as Christian is talking a big game, rearing back for another hard left. Jericho blocks! Jericho connects with lefts and rights of his own, as he's not going to take this beating laying down. Left! Right! Left! Right! Christian is reeling! Jericho goes for a kick to the gut but Christian catches it, Jericho follows with his other leg and connects to Christian's dome with a Enzurguri!
King: What a move from Jericho!
Jericho slaps his hands on the mat in frustration at almost having this match won, but knows to stay on the offensive. He drops a couple of elbows to Christian's chest, before glancing over at the ropes. He smirks running and jumping to the second rope, bouncing off for the Lionsault and connects to Christian's stomach! He goes for another quick pin!
................................1
................................2
........................NO Christian somehow kicks out right before the ref's hand is down for the 3.
Jericho bounces off the ropes and connects with a missile drop kick continuing on Christian. He smirks, as the fans are eating it up. Jericho pulls Christian up and Irish whips him into the turnbuckle. He runs and connects with a flying knee, then another enzurguri that sends Christian back to the mat hard. Jericho goes top rope, as Christian is laid out as Jericho comes off the top with a moonsault, connecting hard.
Jericho with the cover!
..........................................................1
..........................................................2
Cole: NO Christian kicks out, man he is resilient!
Christian rolls out of the ring to catch a breath, as the fans respond with a chorus of boos. Jericho comes through the middle rope on a suicide dive, but Christian side steps him and Jericho crashes into the announcers table.
The ref rolls out to check on Jericho and if he can continue. Christian pushes the ref back to the side, as he grabs Jericho, pulling him shakily to his feet. Christian with the irish whip, sends Jericho knees first into the steel steps as Jericho flips over them. The heat is on as Christian just smirks, stalking Jericho around the corner as he tries to crawl to the wall. Christian slaps Jericho a couple of times as he tries to pull himself up with the wall. Christian steps back and connects with a swift kick to the knee of Jericho, Jericho drops back down. Christian pulls Jericho up to his feet, and Irish whips him again. Jericho connects head first into the ring post, sending Jericho sideways back to the mat, his head busted open. Christian rolls Jericho into the ring, as Jericho is oozing now. Christian climbs the turnbuckle from the outside, and goes top rope. Christian leaps from the top rope, but somehow Jericho is up and nails the codebreaker on Christian mid air! Both men are down!
Both men are laid out, as the ref begins a ten count. At four Jericho stirs, pulling and dragging himself over to Christian, plopping one arm over him for the cover.
..........................................................1
...........................................................2
Orton is up on the apron distracting the ref, as his hand is coming down for the three. The ref is over to the ropes telling Orton to get down, as we see a flying Enzurguri from Jericho sending Orton down hard to the concrete. Jericho smirks forgetting momentarily about Christian, who is up on his feet. Jericho turns around right into a Killswitch that sends Jericho face down to the mat! Christian for the cover!
...........................................................1
...........................................................2
Both men are once again down, as this battle has taken its toll on both competitors. They use the ropes to make their way to their feet, Jericho goes to charge Christian but Christian side steps and sends Jericho out to the floor as he drops to one knee. The ref begins a ten count as Jericho is desperately trying to use the apron to make his way back. He's almost there, inching crawling....Christian grabs the ref as he's making the count, momentarily distracting him.
Orton grabs Jericho and turns him around and connects with a RKO on Jericho into the concrete! He rolls him back into the ring and drops back to one knee as to pretend he's still recovering from the enzurguri earlier. Christian for the cover!
"Just Close Your Eyes" blares throughout the arena as the crowd lays down a chorus of boos. Christian's hand is raised in victory as Orton slides into the ring, smirking. He pushes the ref aside and grabs Christian's arm, raising it in victory as this is the scene we see before our next commercial.

Check out The Dresdon Dose
You need a Banner too bro!
--------------------
We’re backstage with Josh Matthews!
Josh: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guest at this time, Mr. Anderson!
The crowd isn’t so hot for Anderson any more.
Josh: So Anderson, not booked to compete this week, failed to beat the clock last week when you had the chance to come good on your promise to become Undisputed Champion and at the last pay-per-view you lost a hellacious battle that you’re still fully recovering from…what I think the world wants to know is what went wrong? Where is the confidence of your debut and your first victories here in the UWF?
Anderson: Well-
Josh: Oh and how do you feel about the news leak that you weren’t even considered for a drafting to Smackdown and, as evident by not being booked this week, it seems neither brand wanted to pay over the odds for you to compete for them!
Anderson’s eyes widen and he stares a hole through Josh who appears to have gotten a little big for his boots and the crowd waits with baited breath knowing something is going to happen. Josh himself takes a few steps back and gulps. Anderson leans in close to the microphone.
Anderson: Heh...kid, you have about, let's say, five seconds to scram. Go on, go.
Anderson snatches the microphone and turns to the cameraman with it.
Anderson: Nuh-uh, you stay right there. This is me live right? Live with my opportunity to speak to the world about…about the backstage politics…about the bullshit of this company. I was half tempted to roll back to UCW before I heard they’d died a complete death…
An ‘oooh’ from the crowd.
Anderson: So back to the politics, huh? I am the freakin' smash-mouth asshole who can beat anyone put in front of me when I go out to that ring but I’m booked in gimmick matches? It’s hard not to think someone’s trying to keep me down…and how about MVP huh? Back when I was with WWE I chewed gum wrong and got taken off TV! I screwed up a move for some guy who’d rushed back from injury and because he was higher up on the card than me I got FIRED! I went to wrestle for TNA and I got one run at the top with an ugly ass piece of trash title before I had my legs cut out from under me just like every single time I get close to the top! Beat the clock? I would have had MVP down for the count, if not during the match, then at some point between then and this week after he made things personal after that same match…that was as good as assault but where’s his fine? Where’s his suspension? And you know what? I’m not complaining, I’m the biggest asshole out there, I’m just here tonight with my ring gear and I’ll be here every week with my gear in case anyone thinks they can beat me one on one and then…then I’ll be coming for the Undisputed champion! Hey, you want more stories, you want more insider scoops into how all this goes down? I had to BEG, as good as BEG to even get an interview with-
Anderson is crowded by executives and his mic is cut off, someone shoves the cameraman to the side to end the promo and the crowd boo. Anderson holds up his hands and walks away without a physical altercation before shouting loud enough to be picked up by the camera mic.
Anderson: MVP, Wade Barrett, Steve Austin, I don’t care who you are, I’m coming for you! This assholes gonna start taking what’s his! MISTERRRRR…
Anderson is escorted away as some of the crowd chant back ‘ANDERSON!’ whilst cheering. We head back ringside.
King: Welcome back to Raw Ladies and Gentlemen. Now it's time for a treat. We are about to see the Number One Contender for the Undisputed Championship in action.
Cole: That's right. Last week, Wade Barrett won the Beat The Clock Challenge to earn a match aganist Steve Austin at Starrcade. But tonight he was challenged by a man who lost the Beat The Clock last week; MVP!
The lights suddenly go out. The fans sit anxiously, asking the people next to them what is happening. The arena starts to flash gold and black lights everywhere, with some very known words inside the wrestling world ringing out over the PA system.
1,2, YOU HEAR THE CLOCK TICKING
TICK TOCK, YOUR ABOUT TO STOP LIVING,
TICK TOCK I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER ME,
TICK TOCK, BUT THE DAY DON'T HAVE NO MEMORY
I'M COMING.

The camera focuses on the stage where a big inflatable tunnel which can now be seen, presumably being inflated while the lights were flashing on and off. The crowd rise to their feet awaiting one certain special superstar as smoke starts to escape the tunnel. The crowd aren't waiting long as the figure of MVP bursts through the flaps. He stops dead, looking around the crowd who give him a mixed reaction. He smiles, even chuckling to himself as he lowers himself to the ground, touching the ground and mumbling to himself as he quickly jumps up, putting his arms out to his side in his signature pose, setting off the pyros behind him.
Roberts: The following match is scheduled for one fall, introducing first: From Miami, Florida Montel Vontavious Porter...M...V...P
MVP starts to slowly makes his way down to the ring, ignoring all the fans that is leaning over for high fives while he just holds up his '305' bling bling up to the camera, yelling 'Mr 305' towards the camera. He comes towards the bottom of the ramp, stopping for a second, taking out some gum he was chewing and throws it into the crowd before he takes a little run up and slides into the ring. He doesn't waste anytime getting to his feet, running towards the ropes, bouncing off and doing his signature dance and Ballin taunt at the end.
He holds the pose for a while, smiling cockily as he lowers his arms, pointing at his chest with the fans still giving him a mixed reaction. MVP leans back on the ropes waiting for his opponent.
I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK OF ME!

The crowd let out a sigh of disappointment, barring a selection of fans that have taking a liking to the former Undisputed champion, as Wade Barrett walks out from the back and smirks at the UWF Universe at the top of the ramp, before forcing the jacket off his back and punching the air. a confident smirk fills his face as he makes his way down to the ring ready for to try and get a shot at his former championship
Roberts: and his opponent: From Manchester, England. Weighing in at 250 pounds, Wade Barrett.
Wades enters the ring via the steps on the far side. He waits inside the ring for his entrance theme to be cut and then he waits a further few moments more, affirming his importance, before lifting his hands up with a finger pointing up from each hand.
Ding Ding Ding
Both men lock up in a collar-elbow tie up, MVP steps forward trying to gain the upper-hand but Wade quickly starts to move MVP back the bigger man overpowering his back into the corner while still locked up. The referee starts to count him off since MVP is against the ropes, Wade slowly loosens his grip lifting his hands up showing a clean break to the referee. Suddenly both men go for right hands hitting each other simultaneously, Wade staggers back out of the corner from his right hand as MVP shakes his head trying to recover himself.
King: I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people go for a cheap shot like that at the same time before.
As Wade moves his jaw around in his hand making sure everything is all right, MVP comes out of the corner and both men lock up once again in the collar-elbow tie up. Wade suddenly pulls MVP into a side headlock, MVP steps back unto the rope using them to shoot Wade off of him and to the ropes. Wade bounces back and hits MVP with a shoulder block knocking him down on his back, Wade turns to his side and hits the ropes as MVP turns over to his stomach. Barrett hops over him and hits the ropes as MVP stands up, sidestepping Wade coming in to cause him to hit the ropes once again to gain more leverage as he comes back MVP catches him coming in lifting him up in the air in a snap belly to belly suplex throw. Wade sits up from the impact looking like he doesn’t even know what hit him, as MVP pulls him to his back and hooks the leg up

Kick out
MVP stands up and immediately grips the top rope starting to stomp away on Barrett using the ropes to keep himself balances as he does.
Cole: Look how face MVP goes into attack mode after the kick out.
King: That’s a sign that MVP knows who he’s dealing with, not letting him get any moment of rest.
The referee pulls MVP off of the ropes, telling him to get off the ropes. MVP takes a step back looking annoyed that the referee stopped his onslaught, As Barrett is pushing himself up off the mat trying to get himself off from his back. MVP is coming in to continue the attack, but Barrett suddenly reaches forward pulling him back and down hotshotting him on the second rope. Barrett gets to his feet as MVP is still on the second rope, Wade reaches over the top rope and pulls MVPs head up his upper body through the ropes as he turns him facing the ring hooking his head with his arms and he starts lifting his knee up several times hitting him with repeated knees to the head. The ref counts him off since he’s on the ropes but Barrett isn’t listening.
King: Come on ref get him off of him
Cole: Wade Barrett showing the same aggressiveness MVP was giving him earlier.
The referee finally forces Barrett off of him as MVP hands sitting on the second rope groggily, Barrett looks at the referee angrily before he takes a couple steps back measuring MVP up. Wade suddenly charges forward, MVP slides off the ropes down pulling on the top rope as he does. Barrett throws his foot up going for a big boot but hits nothing but air, as he brings his foot down as his momentum carrying him over the top ropes as MVP lets go of them. Wade falls his foot catching the ring apron but having too much momentum to stop himself at all as he falls to the floor on the outside his body making several sickening thuds as his body falls awkwardly on the outside.
King: oh god, we may need some help out here.
Cole: I don’t like the way Wade landed on the floor, don’t let that thin mat fool you folks that is just there to cover the gray cement floor. It is a really thin mat
MVP is in the corner shaking his head still reeling from the knees, as the referee begins his count on Wade giving him some time as a courtesy after the nasty spill.
1!
Barrett is writhing in pain on the outside, kicking his feet up and down holding his back with one hand and the back of his head with the other everything seemingly hurt.
2!
Wade doesn’t seem like he’s even trying to get up, as MVP walks over to the ropes to go after him the referee stops him telling him to stay in the ring before turning around to continue.
3!
MVP moves the referee to one side stepping out of the ring and hooking Wades head under his arm, pulling him up struggling with the weight.
King: Normally MVP wouldn’t be one to pass up a count out victory, or any victory for that matter.
Cole: But he knows Wade is hurt, when you can pin the number one contender, that is all the better.
MVP finally gets Barrett up on the ring apron shoving him into the ring, before sliding in himself and hooking the far leg.

Shoulder up.
MVP looks up at the referee making sure it was only two.
King: I’m surprised, Wade Barrett is a former UWF Champion but that was one nasty fall he took.
MVP pulls Wade up to a seated position and hooks his head with his arm locking is a sleeper hold, Wade quickly reaches forward trying to find the ropes by pure luck. Still seemingly out of it from the fall to the outside, MVP looking to take advantage of his opponents disorientation wrenches on the hold tighter. Barrett moves himself up to his knees trying to alleviate the pressure trying hard to get his bearings back while MVP keeps the hold locked in tight.
King: The difference here than last week is the factor of time, now these two can take their time in wearing the opponent down.
Cole: This hold was such a mistake last week, but now it is the perfect way to keep Wade Barrett in his current state of confusion.
Wade forces himself to get up to his feet, struggling on the way up. He swings his arm over hitting MVP with an elbow to the sternum, suddenly MVP in favor of allowing him to get back in the match lets go of the hold and whips Barrett into the corner. He bounces off for a moment before getting back up against the turnbuckle, MVP does the 305 sign with his hands as he bends overs slightly signaling the corner boot he's hit so many times. He charges forward across the ring going for the players boot when Wade drops off to one side, MVP lifts his foot up and hits nothing his foot getting caught on the top rope stuck in a compromising position. MVP tries to pull his leg off the ropes but struggles when Wade puts his head under MVPs arm and lifts him up bringing MVPs other leg up in the air and dropping his legs across the top rope springboarding him off for a moment spinning in the air before dropping him across his knee with a modified backbreaker. MVP drops on the mat arching his back in pain before Wade hooks the leg up

Shoulder up
Wade again slaps the mat thinking he caught MVP with the three count.
Cole: You can never count out Wade Barrett, there is a reason he is the number one contender.
King: MVP showing the fight in him kicking out from that sickening backbreaker.
Wade puts his hand on his head pulling him up to his feet as he tries to take advantage of the back, but before he can even try MVP moves Wades hands off of his head and extends his hands forward thrusting him right in the throat of Barrett. In that moment as Wade holds his neck in pain coughing out, MVP takes a step forward before leaping up catching Wades head there as he drops to one knee hitting a facebuster rebounding his body from the knee backwards and flat on his back on the mat. MVP goes forward as if about to go for the pin but stops seeing the positioning, MVP looks around at the crowd as they begin to boo knowing what he is after. MVP lifts his hands up rubbing his fingers against his thumbs before running back to the ropes, he bounces off hops over to Barrett before going to lift his hands up for the Ballin' taunt but some in the crowd go off yelling out ballin'. MVP almost looks in disgust at the crowd playing sing along, making a point not to do the taunt before dropping a quick elbow on the chest of Barrett, he quickly hooks the near leg up.

MVP hooks Wades arm right as he lifts it off the mat pulling him forward as he stands up as he turns Wade to face downwards, MVP moves his leg over Wades head seemingly going for the playmaker quickly.
Cole: Playmaker coming up...hold on
Wade suddenly shifts his body over moving his head between his legs from behind and standing up straight slowly lifting MVP up on his shoulders, the crowd standing up seeing this feat of strength.
King: Would you look at the strength of Wade Barrett, lifting MVP high up in the air and I don't think I like where this is headed.
Cole: I don't think MVP likes it any more.
Wade takes a step forward before falling backwards hitting an electric chair drop MVPs body bouncing off the mat after the impact of being so high up, Wade shakes his head still not fully recovered from the fall earlier before moving himself over hooking the leg up in the process.

Cole: He kicked out!
King: I cannot describe the sheer impact you feel when you land on the canvas from that height.
Cole: And you see a clear cut strategy, Wade aims for the back and the body and MVP on the head.
Wade reaches down and tries to grip at MVPs hair, failing to get a good grip choosing to simply pull him up by his head. He cocks back before hitting him with a right hand shot, sending MVP down to one knee. Wade looks around with smirk on his face as the crowd has no clear favorite in this match, quite the opposite. Wade suddenly cringes holding his head for a moment before pulling MVP back up for another shot. MVP lifts his hand up hitting Wade with a thumb to the eye, Wade quickly puts his hands on his face stepping back. MVP shifts his body driving a knee to the sternum dropping Wade to one knee as he takes a couple steps back aiming up for the Drive By.
Cole; here we go, Drive By Kick will put the nail in the coffin.
MVP runs forward but Wade is quick to react, stepping back up to his feet and catching him coming him in his arms twisting him around in his arms as he drops him down on the mat hitting the Winds of Change. Wade bounces off from the impact on his knees groggily looking around as he is out of breath himself from hitting the sudden move, Wade drops down not even hooking the legs as he covers him.

Shoulder up.
Wade stays on top of MVP, as if it hasn't registered that he popped his shoulder off the mat. Wade gets up to his knees looking at the referee
King: MVP is taking it to the number one contender, let me tell you this I see that look in Wades eye and he has basically been going on autopilot since he fell outside.
Cole: And that may be when he is most dangerous as MVP has learned through this recent onslaught, he fights harder when his back is to the wall.
Wade pushes himself up to his feet stumbling immediately falling back into the corner, once he does he looks around trying to shake the cobwebs before he looks down and sees MVP still laid out. Wade grips the top rope thinking for a moment before pushing himself up on the second rope sitting on the top turnbuckle, taking a couple greedy heavy breaths before standing up straight trying to focus on his opponent on the mat.
King: I don’t know how wise this is, you shouldn’t go up there when you’re not even able to keep your feet on the ground.
Wade leaps off the second rope going for an elbow but MVP manages to just move out of the way as Wade lands on the mat with a loud smack, the crowd ooh as Wade bounces to a seated position before falling to his side on the mat.
Cole: Wade Barrett went for it all and got nothing in return.
King: The one problem with going by instinct is you tell yourself to finish it without thinking things out, that cost Barrett a lot here.
MVP pushing himself up off the mat, holding his back in pain as he tries to stand, Wade is pushing himself off the mat as well struggling more. Wade gets up to one knee his head down trying to catch his breath as MVP locks in on his target, MVP runs forward stepping up on Barretts knee slightly before bringing his other foot up and hitting the Drive By kick square on the side of the head knocking Barrett face down the mat. MVP arches his back on the mat still hurt from the winds of change as Wade seems out
Cole: Drive By boot
King: That risk cost Wade Barrett the match, MVP has beaten the number one contender.
MVP pulls Wades motionless body over to his back before dropping his body on top of Wades covering him.

3NO!
Cole: Wait what, was that three
King: no the referee is waving it off.
The referee stands up kicking the bottom rope showing Wades foot on the bottom rope
King: He got his foot on the rope, good eye by the referee because I’ll be honest I didn’t see that.
Cole: I can’t believe that, Wade just got kicked right on the side of the skull.
MVP looks up at the referee, shaking his head trying to fathom that he didn’t win. He pulls Wade by the head trying to get him up, he wraps his arms around his waist as he slowly stands him up to his feet clearly out of it. MVP decides to do a roll up thinking all he needed was a better cover, he charges forward with Wade in front of him to the ropes to bounce off and roll back. But in that moment Wade hooks the top rope with his arms, MVP rolls backwards without rolling up Barrett. He rolls up to his feet before charging back towards him, Wade kicks his foot back hitting him in the sternum and dropping MVP down to his knees.
Cole: these two while not having an hour long match have hit each other with such high impact moves it’s as if they were just in an marathon.
Wade hits the ropes going for a boot but right as he does, MVP drops forward ducking the boot. Wade stumbles forward towards the ropes stopping himself as he turns around MVP pops up charging forward, jumping up hooking him for the Play of the Day but Wade out of instinct hooks the ropes behind him holding him from getting hit with the move as MVP lands on the mat. MVP rolls backwards after the impact as both men are on their feet they charge forward at the same time kicking their legs up both thinking boot to the face and both hitting it knocking each other down.
King: Both men had the same thing in mind, and they both hit it.
Cole: This is anyones ball game here.
Both men stay on their backs, dazed from the boots that hit them. Both men start moving to their knees trying to get up before the other, but both seem to be at the same pace. MVP moves to his feet first, going forward but Wade uses his moment to lift him up on his shoulders. MVP reaches out grabbing the top rope to stop it.
Cole: Wasteland
King: MVP is blocking it, every second he has to hold him up is wasting energy for him.
Wade finally pulls MVP off of the ropes to the middle of the ring, but the expended energy costing him, as MVP hits him with an elbow causing Wade to bend down dropping MVP to his feet off his shoulders. Immediately MVP hooks his arm and puts his leg over the back of his neck
King: The Playmaker, this is all Wade is going to be able to handle.
MVP holds it for a moment, with a cocky smirk on his face before he rears back and goes for the move but in that momentum Wade spins completely out of it off from under his leg twisting up with MVPs arm still in hand. In that moment pulls him in and lifts him up on his shoulders, MVP starts hitting him with elbows again but Wade lifts his arm up in the air ignoring the hard shots and dropping him with a huge Wasteland in the middle of the ring. Wade drops to his knees and collapses on top of him as the referee makes the count

Roberts: Here is your winner, Wade Barrett.
King: Wasteland coming out of nowhere, the number one contender pulls it out but I mean barely by the skin of his teeth.
Cole: That is what Stone Cold has got to look out for, Wade Barrett has just shown two weeks in a row that he can pull out the victory at the last moment.
Barrett celebrates his victory and heads up the ramp while MVP is pulling himself up in the ring. Barrett has disappeared from sight and MVP has a look of disappointment on his face. MVP gets ready to leave until....

"MacMillitant" starts playing and out walks Theodore Long on the stage. MVP turns and looks at the General Manager, who doesn't waste too much time and starts speaking quickly.
Theodore Long: Montel, Montel playa. Even though 'ya jus' lost, I mus' say that 'ya have impressed me over the past two weeks. 'Ya signed the richest contract in UWF history, and so far 'ya have lived up to it. So 'cause of that, I'm gonna reward 'ya playa. At Starrcade, I'm gonna give 'ya a golden opportunity. At Starrcade, MVP will be given a shot to become the Number One Contender to the Undisputed Championship!
MVP smiles as he hears the news Long has just given him. But Teddy isn't finished just yet.
Long: Now Montel, don't get too happy jus' yet playa. 'Cause I ain't tell 'ya who 'ya are facin. 'Ya see last week, 'ya had a match. And after 'ya match, 'ya jumped 'ya opponent out of frustration. And that man never really got the chance to get even. So at Starrcade, Montel, 'ya will be facin....

Anderson’s music hits to a decent reception and he comes out onto stage, in ring gear, ready to send a message to the locker room. At the top of the ramp he calls for his microphone in typical fashion and the lights go down. A spotlight rests on him as he waits for a calm to come across the arena.
Anderson: Are the any assholes in the building?
Pop from the crowd.
From Green Bay, Wisconsin; Go Packers! I weigh in at a very lean, very mean, very ass kicking 243 pounds! And I am the next UWF Undisupted Champion. My name…is MISTERRRRRRR
ANDERSONNNNNN! *pause* Anderson….
Anderson throws the mic up in the air and stares down MVP as Raw heads to commercial.
--------------------
I'm watching this as I work on Raw
--------------------
The camera soon goes backstage where Antonio Cesaro stands in front of a training ring in a suit waiting to deliver his promo. Aksana stands at his side holding his European Championship.
Antonio Cesaro: Allow Mister Antonio Cesaro to tell you all a little story tonight. Last week, Mister Antonio Cesaro succesfully defended his European Championship against The Miz. The Miz is no longer on this show and that just goes to show the fear that Mister Antonio Cesaro struck into his heart. Now, regardless of how I won my match last week, I retained my championship and I believe it is a tragedy, eine unendliche Tragödie that I am being forced to defend my championship again at Starrcade. Does the General Manager simply neglect the 30 Day Defence Rule?... or is it that he just doesn't want a man of Swiss origin to be a champion here in this country. Quite simply I believe that it comes down to anti-European discrimination, however I must digress for in the end of the day it will not matter. I will once again defeat Miz at the pay-per-view and prove once more that being Very European means that I am better than any man who chooses to step into the ring with me.
Cesaro takes a moment to think before speaking once more.
I will prove just that when I face my opponent tonight. It would not matter if it were Cody Rhodes, or if it were any other man, I am in the mood to teach someone a lesson in European dominance tonight and that is exactly what I will do to Cody Rhodes tonight. It isn't personal, and I wish him best of luck at Starrcade in his effort to win the worthless United States Championship... but tonight?, it's all about business... and I will defeat you. Because I am Mister Antonio Cesaro, I am Very European and I am oh so much better than each and every one of you. Cody Rhodes included.
Cole: Strong words from The European Champion. Let's see if he can back them up right now.
Cole: Welcome back Ladies and Gentlemen. Now it's time to witness two of Raw's brightest stars go to war. Both men have huge matchups at Starrcade, but tonight, it's about finding out who is better.
Roberts: The following non-title match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, From Lucerne Switzerland, weighing 108 Kilo he is the European Champion, Mr. Antonio…Cesaro
Suddenly a familiar song fills the arena with immediate disdain.
'WE'RE ALL LIVING IN AMERICA, AMERICA, IT'S WUNDERBAR
WE'RE ALL LIVING IN AMERICA, AMERICA, AMERICA...'
'Amerika' by Rammstien hits the PA system. Before long Antonio Cesaro steps out onto the entrance stage from behind the curtain and has the sourest of expressions plastered all over his face. Seemingly infuriated, Cesaro wastes no time walking down to the ring. He walks up the ring steps and along the outside of the ring apron and does his signature pose before turning towards the ring.
Roberts: And his opponent, from Marietta, Georgia, weighing in at 215 pounds, Cody Rhodes!
Whoa Oh!
"Only One Can Judge' starts playing and the fans boo as Cody Rhodes enters the arena to his slow, methodical theme music. He first makes his presence known on the stage, with his back to the cameras, but soon turns around, keeping his hood over his face, not wanting anyway to see his "scars". The whole way down the ramp, he keeps the hood on, and when the cameras try to get close, he pushes them away. He eventually makes it to the ring, where he still hides himself from everyone. The time has come for the match to start though, and Cody reluctantly gives up his jacket, revealing his masked face to the masses. The bells rings three times and the match is set to begin.
Cesaro and Rhodes lock up, with Cody using his agility to grab Cesaro in a side headlock. Cesaro tries to counter the move by throwing elbows into Rhodes’ chest, but Cody is too strong. Cody takes a step back and Cesaro pushes him off towards the far ropes. Cody comes back and hits a running shoulder block which takes Cesaro to the mat. Cody then follows this with an elbow to the chest and soon covers Cesaro for the first time in the match…

Cesaro goes down and Rhodes goes for another cover…

Cole: Oh no! Disaster Kick!
Rhodes spins in midair, looking for the Disaster Kick, but Cesaro is able to duck under. Cody lands on his feet though, but isn’t fully aware that Cesaro is ready for him. King: Boston Crab!
Cole: Jerry, we’ve been through this; it’s a European Crab!
Rhodes screams in pain as Cesaro wrenches the submission. He sits down on Rhodes’ back to apply all the pressure possible. Rhodes continues to grunt in pain, but starts moving towards the ropes, looking for a break…
Cole: Smart strategy by Antonio Cesaro. If you take away Rhodes’ leg, you take away the Disaster Kick, one of Rhodes’ most reliable and devastating moves.
Rhodes still crawls towards the ropes, and lunges towards them, grabbing the bottom one out of desperation. The referee calls for a break but Cesaro does not acknowledge it, causing the referee to begin his five count…

Cesaro breaks the hold right before five or he would have been disqualified. Cesaro then grabs Rhodes by the leg before intertwining it with his own leg with a leg lock and driving it down to the mat…
King: Cesaro continues to work on the leg.
Rhodes screams in pain as Cesaro continues working on his leg. Cesaro once again drags Cody by the leg towards the ring ropes, before resting Cody’s left leg on the bottom rope. Cesaro uses this same rope to springboard up and drive all of his weight down onto Rhodes’ leg. Cody screams again and Cesaro drags him from the ropes and covers him…

Cody rolls a shoulder!
Cesaro is now the one who is ready to end things. He grabs Rhodes by the back of the head and lifts him to his feet. Cesaro talks some trash to Rhodes in Swedish, before placing Rhodes’ head between his head…
Cole: Might be time for the Riccola Bomb!
Cesaro tries to lift Rhodes up for the Riccola Bomb, but Rhodes blocks it. Cesaro tries it again, but Rhodes blocks once more. Cesaro tires a third time and Rhodes blocks once more…
King: Cesaro can’t get Rhodes up!
Cesaro is determined to hit the sitout powerbomb on Cody Rhodes. Rhodes is able to counter though; he wraps his arms around the legs of Antonio Cesaro and is able to lift him off his feet….
Cole: Look at the strength!
Rhodes has Cesaro up on his shoulders before quickly slamming him down on the mat with an Alabama Slam. The ring shakes as Cesaro’s skull bounce off it and Rhodes goes for a cover…

Rhodes staggers to his feet and screams that “it’s over”. He positions himself behind Cesaro, who is struggling to pull himself up. Cesaro is unaware that Cody is stalking him, and when The European Champion gets to his feet, Rhodes wraps his forearm around Cesaro’s neck…
Cole: Cross Rhodes!
Cody spins looking for Cross Rhodes, but as he is in revolution, Cesaro is able to counter. Cesaro wraps his arms around Rhodes’ waist, stopping Rhodes’ momentum and sending Cody overhead with a beautiful Northern Lights Suplex with a bridge…
Cole: What a counter!

3…No! Rhodes kicks out!
Cesaro can’t believe it. He gets to his feet just as Rhodes starts to get to his. Cesaro strikes first, grabbing Rhodes by the arm and whipping him towards the ropes. Rhodes bounces off the ropes and Cesaro looks for a clothesline, but Rhodes ducks under and keeps running. Rhodes springboards off the ropes he was running towards before spinning backwards and kicking Antonio Cesaro right in the skull…
King: Disaster Kick!
Rhodes hits the Disaster Kick, but immediately grabs the leg that Cesaro was working over earlier in the match…
Cole: Cody Rhodes may have struck with the Disaster Kick, but he can’t capitalize!

Cole: I don’t know why he went for the Kick again!

"Metangilus" by Alterbridge starts to play and the stage fills up with grey smoke. A figure can soon be seen in that grey smoke, it belongs to the "Rated R Superstar"; Edge. Edge makes his way down the ramp to a chorus of boos. He stops about halfway down, before throwing up the horns and setting the pyro off. Edge then starts running towards the ring, before sliding in under the bottom rope and climbing the turnbuckle, throwing up the horns one more time. He then waits for the arrival of his opponent.
Roberts: And his opponent, from St.Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 246 pounds, he is "The Viper"; Randy Orton!!

The crowd explodes as Randy Orton passes through the curtains and onto the main stage. He's wearing his usual smirk, but donning some new ring gear. Across his chest is no longer his corporate t-shirts sold on websites or in the arenas, but a black one bearing just three letters, N..W..O. He makes his way down to ringside, as Batista looks on. The fans reach out for Orton but he continues up the steel steps and into the ring. He climbs a turnbuckle and poses as the fans cheer. He jumps down and waits for the match to start.
The bell rings and Edge and Orton circle one another. Edge goes on the attack first, looking for a short arm clothesline, but Orton ducks under and catches Edge with a beautiful standing dropkick. Edge goes down and Orton goes for the first cover of the match…

King: Edge was almost in the lights!

Edge goes back down and Orton goes for another cover…

Edge kicks out!
Cole: This match has been all Orton.
Orton gets to his feet quickly and prepares to strike once more. He drops to a knee and begins stalking Edge…
King: Oh no! Randy has that look in his eye!
Edge is pulling himself up with help from the ropes, but he does not know that Randy Orton is positioned behind him. Edge gets all the way and turns around, and Orton looks for another dropkick…
Cole: Another…
Edge is able to counter though. He grabs Orton’s legs, which causes the Viper to fall onto his back and Edge separates Orton’s legs before stepping through and applying a reverse Sharpshooter…
Cole: The Edgecator! I haven’t seen Edge use that submission in years!
Edge sits down on the Edgecator, applying all the pressure of the hold on Orton’s back. Orton scratches at the mat, trying to block out the pain. The referee asks Orton if he wants to quit, but what he does not see is that Edge has grabbed the ropes and is using them to gain extra leverage! Orton screams in more pain and the referee looks over at Edge, who quickly lets go of the ropes. The referee turns his attention back to Orton and Edge grabs the ropes once more. The referee hears Orton cries again and asks him if he wants to quit. Orton once again says no! Edge still has hold of the ropes and continues the pressure…
Cole: Brilliant strategy by Edge!
King: Strategy? He’s blatantly cheating!
The referee catches Edge this time and forces him to break the hold. Edge indeed complies. The damage may have been done though. Edge gets off of Orton and begins stalking his opponent as the third generation superstar grabs his back in pain. Edge begins laying boots in Orton’s spine, before dropping an elbow across it. Edge says this is over. He heads over to the corner, and gets down in his trademark three point stance…
Cole: This could be it!
Edge starts bouncing in the corner, waiting for Orton to get up. Edge can’t wait to Spear Orton out of his boots. Orton starts to pull himself up, and Edge charges right at him, looking for the Spear…
King: Spear!
Edge comes at Orton, but Randy is able to side step Edge, grabbing him by the back of the head and bringing Edge down with Orton’s trademark inverted backbreaker. Orton grabs his spine in pain and goes to cover Edge…

Edge kicks out!
Orton gets off Edge and slowly pulls himself to his feet. He grabs Edge by the neck and lifts him up before quickly whipping him into a nearby corner. Edge’s neck and back hit the corner hard, which stun him momentarily and give Orton the opportunity to charge in and hit a running clothesline. The clothesline staggers Edge, which allows Orton to use his upper body strength to push Edge up on top of the top. Orton then climbs up the turnbuckle and meets Edge at the summit….
Cole: This is very dangerous!
Both Orton and Edge are perched on the top rope. Orton throws a few punches to keep Edge at bay, before throwing Edge’s arm over his body and tossing him over the top with a huge top rope superplex! The ring shakes as both men hit the canvas hard and both men lie there motionless…
King: What a move! That may have done it!
Cole: Nobody knows about a superplex better than Orton. His grandfather revolutionized the move!
The referee sees that neither man is moving and starts counting both men down…

Cole: Not another Spear!
Edge comes in on Orton, but out of nowhere, Orton is able to leapfrog over Edge…

Edge hits the mat hard and rolls towards the apron. Orton goes right after Edge, grabbing him by the arm and draping him on the second rope, half of Edge’s body on the inside, half on the outside. 3…NO! Orton rolls a shoulder!
Edge can’t believe it! He doesn’t know what to do next. He looks down at Orton, who hasn’t moved. Edge then slits his throat with his hand in homage to his fellow Canadian Chris Benoit. Edge then heads to the ring apron, before climbing to the very top. Edge then spreads his arm before jumping off the top rope, looking for Benoit’s Flying Headbutt…
Cole: Here comes Edge!
Edge soars in midair, almost in slow motion. As Edge is coming down, Orton is able to leap off his back and catch Edge by the head in midair…
King: RKO!!
Orton catches Edge in mid Headbutt with midair RKO. The ring shakes as Edge’s skull bounces off it. The fans chant “Holy S**t” over and over again as Orton goes for the cover and the win…

Roberts: Here is your winner; “The Viper” Randy Orton!
“Voices” starts playing once more and Randy Orton staggers to his feet. He’s exhausted from the war he’s just had. He looks down on Edge before stepping on his fallen foes’ prone body and throwing up the NWO hand signal.
Cole: Like Orton or not, he just won a hell of a match. And he did it without the help of the New World Order.
Orton hops down from the turnbuckle after posing and looks over at Edge. The Rated R Superstar is on his hands and knees, trying to get to his hands and knees. Orton sees this and his eyes light up like a Christmas tree.
Cole: Oh My! Orton's got that look.
Orton is seething. He backs up into the corner and prepares to Punt Edge into the next country. When out of nowhere, fellow New World Order member Christian slides into the ring and gets in front of Edge, telling Randy not to do it!
King: Thank God! I never would have thought Christian would come to save Edge!
Orton asks Christian what he's doing. Christian gets up and whispers something in Orton's ear. Orton starts smiling and agrees with whatever Christian is saying. Orton heads over to the edge of the ring and asks for a microphone. He recieves it and gets in Edge's face before speaking.
Randy Orton: I want you to listen to me, you pathethic piece of garbage. I could end your career right now if I wanted to. But your best friend has given me an even better idea. He think it's a great idea if we let the newest member of the New World Order make a statement. So Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introdcue to you, the newest member of the New World Order....
Orton points to the stage, where nothing happens for a minute until.....
Whoa Oh!
Cole: You've got to be kidding me!
"Only One Can Judge" starts playing and Cody Rhodes saunters out onto the stage. He has a grin on his face as he heads down the ramp quickly. Orton and Edge throw up the NWO hand signal, and Rhodes soon follows. He enters the ring, where Orton and Christian have lifted Edge to his feet. Rhodes quickly wraps his arm around Edge's neck before spinning and taking him down with Cross Rhodes!
King: Cross Rhodes from the newest apparent member of the NWO.
Edge is down. Orton rolls under the bottom rope and grabs something from under the ring. It's another spray can! Orton tosses it to Rhodes in the ring and Rhodes begins to tatoo Edge....
Cole: Not this again!
The NWO has tagged yet another man. This time it's Edge! The last thing we see before Raw goes off the air is all three members of the New World Order holding up there hands together.
