UWE presents Monday Night Lightning!

Eric Bischoff, the new Lightning GM adresses the fans ahead of the inaugural episode of Lightning and the first ever UWE event. He announced 4 singles matches in which the winners would meet in a fatal 4 way for the UWE Title at the first Pay Per View, Bragging Rights. He also mentioned that a fatal 4 way cross brand match will be taking place and he will decide his participant next week. Bischoff also announced 2 former Intercontinental Champions, Goldust & Ezekiel Jackson will face off in a match later on for the UWE Intercontinental Championship.

Match 1: Tyson Kidd V Hunico.

The match starts with Kidd forcing Hunico into the corner. Kidd pounds away on Hunico in the corner before throwing him to the canvas. Kidd gets to the top rope before hitting an elbow drop on Hunico and then stomping on his head. Kidd taunts him a bit before picking him up and clotheslining him. Kidd laughs at the damage he is causing before attempting a leg drop. Hunico gets out of the way and rolls out of the ring to recuperate. Kidd bounces off the ropes and attempts to dive on Hunico who is standing by the barricade. Kidd goes crashing into the barricade and Hunico rolls him back in before getting a near fall. Hunico goes on the offensive with a lot of high-risk moves but he takes too much time pandering to the crowd and when he went over to pick Kidd up, Kidd got him in a roll-up for the two count. Kidd placed him in the Sharpshooter and Hunico tapped out.

Winner of this match: Tyson Kidd

Robert Roode & James Storm are backstage. They talk about how they are going to become the first ever World Tag Team Champions. They are interrupted by Air Boom who wish them good luck in that quest but say they are gunning for the same thing.

Match 2: John Cena V Matt Hardy (UWE Title Tournament Match)

John Cena started off the match in control hitting a few clotheslines. He got Hardy in the corner and then hit him with a Bulldog. Cena picked Hardy up and hit him with a back body drop and set him up for the 5 knuckle shuffle. Cena connected and followed up with the FU! Cena got the pin on Hardy.

Winner of this match: John Cena

Match 3: Finlay V MVP (UWE Title Tournament Match)

The match starts with Finlay locking up with MVP and then slamming him to the mat. He begins to place him in a headlock and after a short while, MVP breaks out and kicks him in the back of the head to which he gets a near fall. MVP gets Finlay back to his feet and hits a DDT. MVP then takes control of the match executing a few big moves including a few german suplexes. MVP however, wasted too much time taunting and Finlay regained composure. He got to his feet but MVP hit him with the 305. At this moment however, Hornswoggle crawled out from underneath the ring and slides a shillelagh into the ring before distracting the ref. As MVP goes over to see what's happening, Finlay grabs the shillelagh and whacks MVP with it before tossing it out the ring. Hornswoggle jumps off the apron as Finlay pins MVP.

Winner of this match - Finlay

The Miz is backstage in an interview. He is asked what he thinks of his chances at winning the UWE Championship. He grabs the mic off the announcer and says that he will win because hes awesome.

Match 4: Goldust V Ezekiel Jackson (Intercontinental Championship)

Ezekiel Jackson started off the match in control, punishing Goldust with a variety of clotheslines and slams. The huge Jackson locks his hand into the pressure point on the shoulder of Goldust and presses hard. Goldust struggles to escape and eventually elbows Jackson in the gut. He breaks free and hits a dropkick. Both men go down and after a few seconds both get up at the same time. Jackson attempted to clothesline Goldust but it was ducked and executed a hip toss. Goldust then hit a reverse STO. Goldust stalked Jackson and then hit Curtain Call. Goldust the pinned Jackson to become the first ever CWE Intercontinental Champion.

Winner of the match and NEW CWE Intercontinental Champion: Goldust

Match 5: The Miz V Evan Bourne (UWE Title Tournament Match)

The Miz starts off the match in control against the much smaller Bourne. He forces him into the corner and knees him in the gut. Miz hits a huge bulldog and then starts to shout at the crowd. Bourne gets back up and hits a variety of kicks before hitting a hurricarana. Bourne then took control of the match totally executing an enziguiri before following up with a knee drop. Evan then hit a standing shiranui. Evan taunts to the crowd and climbs up the turnbuckle, hinting for his trademark shooting star press. Suddenly, Carlito jumps up over the barricade, goes over to the ring, stands on the apron and pushes Bourne off. Bourne turns to look at Carlito when Miz came behind him and hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale! He gets the pin.

Winner of this match: The Miz

Alberto Del Rio is backstage walking to the arena with his announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Ricardo asks Alberto what he will do if he loses to Abyss. Del Rio flips out and says he won't lose as it's his destiny to be champion.

Main Event: Alberto Del Rio V Abyss (UWE Title Tournament Match)

Abyss starts off in control of the match hitting a couple of clotheslines and a big boot. He got Del Rio in a twisted chinlock. After a bit, Del Rio battles back and his suplex knocked both men down. Both men get up at 7 but Del Rio takes advantage with a DDT. When Abyss gets up, Del Rio dishes out a german suplex and then a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Alberto taunts the fans but Abyss gets back and hits a double knee armbreaker. Del Rio hits a dropkick and locks Abyss in the Cross Armbreaker

Winner Of This Match: Alberto Del Rio

Great show, actually hoping to see Miz be the winner of the tournament.

Tuesday Night Chaos!


The show starts with GM Kurt Angle welcoming the fans. He explained that he retired as a wrestler to become the GM of Chaos. He announced that the whole roster will take part in a battle royal tonight to crown the first Global Champion. Kurt was interrupted by Primo & Epico who wanted to know what he was doing with the tag titles. Kurt announced that Primo & Epico would face Paul London & Brian Kendrick for the Tag Titles right now!

Match 1: Primo & Epico V Paul London & Brian Kendrick (Global Tag Team Championships)


The match started with Primo and Kendrick in the ring. Primo took control of the match using a variety of kicks and punches to get some offence in. He bounced Kendrick off the ropes and tagged in Epico and the pair double dropkicked him getting a near fall. Epico continued to dominate Kendrick and him and Primo continued to work on him in the corner, making a few tags. Primo got into the ring and hit a DDT for another near fall before getting up and bouncing Kendrick off the ropes. Kendrick ducked Primos clothesline attempt before hitting a crossbody on the return. Both men went down. Both men made the tags to their partners simultaneously and London went straight on the offensive, knocking Epico down with a variety of high flying moves. London went up the top rope, looking for the 350 splash but Primo pushed him off. London went to the ropes to confront Primo but Epico rolled him up and got the three-count.

Winner of this match and NEW Global Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico

After the match, Brian Kendrick shoves Paul London and calls him a liability. He says London always held him back. He grabs London and rams him shoulder first into the steel ringpost and then hit Sliced Bread #2 before leaving.

Match 2: William Regal V Shelton Benjamin

Stelton Benjamin started off in control, hitting a dropkick and using his speed to suprise William Regal. He continued his pace when he hit a crossbody. William Regal began to fight back, keeping Shelton grounded and placing him in a vicious headlock which Shelton struggled to break free from. He elbowed Regal in the gut breaking free eventually. Shelton hit a German Suplex before stomping on the head of Regal. Regal got to his feet and reversed Sheltons Suplex attempt, hitting one of his own. William Regal went on the offensive hitting a variety of punches, one knocking Shelton to the canvas. William Regal then applied his finishing manoeuvre, the Regal Stretch. Shelton struggled to break free and eventually tapped out.

Chris Jericho was backstage and he said that he was the only one capable of winning the battle royal because he is the best in the world at what he does. He started talking trash about how he was better than everyone when he was interrupted by Brodus Clay, who started dancing in the interview space. Jericho attempted to push him but he didn't move. Brodus headbutted him, knocking him to the floor and continued dancing.

Match 3: Cody Rhodes V Husky Harris

Husky Harris made a bright start to the match, forcing Rhodes into the corner and striking him repeatedly in the chest. Husky Harris continues building momentum, throwing Rhodes halfway across the ring. Husky hten bounces off the ropes and hits Rhodes with a huge splash and gets a near fall. Husky continues his offence, kicking Cody in the back. Husky waits for Rhodes to get to his feet and attempts a shoulder block but Rhodes moves out of the way and trips him up. Cody picks up Husky and hits him with a DDT. He shows off to the crowd before turning back to Husky. Husky picks up Rhodes and hits him with a Spinebuster. Husky stalks Rhodes for a bit and when he doesn't get up, he walks over. Rhodes, playing possum, sneakily pokes Husky in the eye and hits Cross Rhodes for the pin before running from the ring.

Backstage, Wade Barrett is talking to Mark Henry, he says that they should work together to be in the last two of the battle royal and then they can battle it out between them for the title. Henry likes the idea and agrees to work with Barrett.

Match 4: Roster Battle Royal for the Global Championship

The whole of Chaos gathered in the ring for the battle royal. Chris Jericho went straight after Brodus Clay, punching and kicking him into the corner. Robbie E traded blows with Alex Shelley who was backed up by Chris Sabin. Brian Kendrick punched Paul London and dropkicked him over the ropes.

PAUL LONDON ELIMINATED

Shelton Benjamin tried to attack Husky Harris but was headbutted. Primo & Epico went after D'Angelo Dinero but were hit by a double clothesline. Skip Sheffield went after Wade Barrett but Mark Henry came from behind, picked him up and threw him out of the ring.

SKIP SHEFFIELD ELIMINATED

The Undertaker grabbed the throat of William Regal but he was kneed in the gut and hit with a DDT. Claudio Castagnoli attacked Daniel Bryan forcing him against the ropes but Bryan flipped him over.

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI ELIMINATED

Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin went after Henry & Barrett looking to match the numbers but Mark Henry pushed both over the top rope.

ALEX SHELLEY ELIMINATED

CHRIS SABIN ELIMINATED

Cody Rhodes went after Husky Harris, hitting him with a variety of kicks before being knocked to the canvas with a big boot. Cody got up using the ropes as support but Husky Harris clotheslined him over the top rope

CODY RHODES ELIMINATED

Primo & Epico both kicked Brodus Clay but he launched Primo out of the ring closely followed by Epico

PRIMO ELIMINATED

EPICO ELIMINATED

D'Angelo Dinero was brawling with Shelton Benjamin when Chris Jericho hit Dinero with a Codebreaker before Benjamin threw him out

D'ANGELO DINERO ELIMINATED

Brian Kendrick was targeted by Chris Hero who put him in a sleeper hold. Kendrick was put to sleep when Hero lifted him out.

BRIAN KENDRICK ELIMINATED

Daniel Bryan took advantage, flipping Hero out.

CHRIS HERO ELIMINATED

Wade Barrett began to punch Robbie E and hoisted him on his shoulders before hitting a Wasteland to the outside.

ROBBIE E ELIMINATED

William Regal tried to sneak up behind Barrett and throw him out but Barrett just hung on. Mark Henry came up behind and threw Regal out.

WILLIAM REGAL ELIMINATED

The lights went out and when they came back on, Shelton Benjamin, Daniel Bryan and Brodus Clay were on the floor.

SHELTON BENJAMIN ELIMINATED

DANIEL BRYAN ELIMINATED

BRODUS CLAY ELIMINATED

Everyone looked at Undertaker then and ran over and eliminated him

UNDERTAKER ELIMINATED

The final four were Husky Harris, Chris Jericho, Wade Barrett & Mark Henry. Wade Barrett went over to Jericho and started pushing him against the ropes, trying to eliminate him.husky Harris went up behind and lifted both men over.

CHRIS JERICHO ELIMINATED

WADE BARRETT ELIMINATED

Mark Henry and Husky Harris traded blows in the centre of the ring before Husky Harris hit a swinging reverse STO. Just as it looked like he was about to finish Henry off, Cody Rhodes ran down the entrance ramp and got up on the apron. Henry got up and pushed Harris towards the ropes and Rhodes pulled the rope down, allowing Husky to fall over.

HUSKY HARRIS ELIMINATED

Winner and new Global Champion: Mark Henry

Husky Harris grabbed Rhodes and snapped, throwing him into the barricade. He looked under the ring and pulled out a steel chair and repeatedly hit him in the head, busting him wide open. Husky dragged him up the ramp and threw him off the stage leaving him in a collapsed heap.

All g bro, I was kinda suprised to see Mark Henry become the Global Champion, I would have prefered maybe someone like Cody rhodes or even Chris Hero but I'm not saying that was a bad choice, I just hope you have some good things planned for Henry as champ.

All g bro, I was kinda suprised to see Mark Henry become the Global Champion, I would have prefered maybe someone like Cody rhodes or even Chris Hero but I'm not saying that was a bad choice, I just hope you have some good things planned for Henry as champ.

I had Cody Rhodes pencilled in but I changed it at the last moment as I wanted to do the Husky/Cody feud to give Husky a push.
