Rihanna‘s ‘You Da One’ is proving to be anything but ‘the one’ on US radio.
Find out why after the jump…

Rolled out (perhaps prematurely) during the hurricane that was (and still is) ‘We Found Love’, the Dr Luke produced cut saw its US airplay soar…initially.
However, following the debut of its lackluster video (which saw the model grab her vage more times than we care to count), its progress has slowed drastically.
Once commanding a radio audience of over 1.0 million a day, the song is now struggling to hit the 40 million total audience mark (limping as at writing to 38 million overall). A far cry from the 150 million total tally its predecessor registered.
Put simply, it’s time to stick a fork in this McHit and keep it moving.
Of course, being the fair and unbias site we are, it’s important to stress that many a newcomer would rejoice at such numbers. Yet, for an artist who’s perched on a pedestal as high as Ms. Fenty, it’s a (relative) flop. Something its Hot 100 peak (#14) and current iTunes standing (#25) further highlights.
Still, it’s by no means all doom and gloom. For, not only is it somewhat of a “good†problem for one of your singles to be dumping all over the other, we hear the album’s title track ‘Talk That Talk’ may be the next offering.
Perhaps everything in unison will give the album the sales push it so clearly needs.

Not every single can become a hit for her so I don't think that she will be too worried by this. We Found Love is a massive hit for her and will more than make up for the decreased sales of this new song.

I do think that Rihanna's clips are becoming a bit ridiculous, she is going over the top again and again and the gimmick just isn't that interesting anymore.

Hate her video clips but her songs are amazing.

It's a shame to see why the Australian charts TV Show isn't even on anymore due to this.
