-- WWE plans to have The Undertaker wrestle once or twice this year, with one of the matches taking place at Survivor Series. Some believe he will also be at RAW's 1000th episode but that is not confirmed by any means.

-- Rey Mysterio has been cleared to wrestle from his 60-day suspension for the past two weeks, but has not appeared on television. Mysterio was told he would return on this week's RAW, but is instead being held back for the 1,000th episode.

It'd be nice to have a Taker appearance outside of WM season, as for Rey, understandable why they want to hold back his return as WWE continue to stack Raw 1000

Here's another update on Undertaker.
- There has been talk of having The Undertaker work one of two shows before the year is over, with one being at Survivor Series, as noted before. If he does appear at the 1,000th RAW in a few weeks, it would be just for an appearance.

Well since he's the last active superstar to appear on the 1st episode of raw... I really hope he does indeed appear in three weeks

It would be foolish for Taker not to appear on Raw 1000 really. Like Viper said, he was on the first episode. It just makes sense. Having him around for more then just 'Mania would definitely be awesome.
