Update on Edges new contract

According to PWInsider, 11 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge has signed a very good new deal with WWE, where he’s going to be making a lot more money and this new contract is more than just a “Legends Contracts”, which means we could finally see the Rated-R Superstar make his in-ring return.

Below is what Mike Johnson of PWInsider said:

“We’ve been told that Edge signed a new deal. We’ve been told that it has a very nice upside to it financially and you have to think it’s not just a legends deal where they just have him show up and have him do promos. So, I think there’s more smoke to the fire with Edge than there is with Paige as we record this.”

As we noted earlier, Edge was spotted at several WWE TV tapings in recent weeks, which has begun even more speculation of Edge’s in-ring return being near, as soon as the Royal Rumble 2020 PPV.

I would think WWE would include NDA's in theirs nowadays.

Stuff gets leaked out some how, no idea how but it does.

But the NDA would you know, explain why the wrestlers actually deny it....so that actually hurts your case not help it.

Could nullify a contract and get sued if it's leaked and the employee thinks it was you tho.

Which would be a bit unfair if someone else leaks it. They are plenty of people in the back who know these things.

Now, with the JoMo one, maybe at the time he didn't know have one signed and he wasn't lying when he said he didn't. It's just a few weeks later he was signed.

If they want to make Edge's return a shock, he surely isn't going to be like "yep this is all true."

So I'm not saying he is, but I'm not saying he isn't. I'm just keeping an open mind.

I have no desire to want to see Edge wrestle again. It’s been almost 9 years. And just like Austin, one bump could be life altering. It’s not worth it.

If he can go, then I'll accept it. But I mean yeah if it's going to be dangerous, I rather he not.

But I can't help but mark out if it does. I was a huge Edge fan and miss the hell out of him.
