To follow up on the story we posted earlier, WWE is in fact changing the name of their September Pay-Per-View event. WWE Unforgiven, which has been an annual event since 1998, will now be known as WWE "Breaking Point", which is the same name as the UFC PPV Brock Lesnar debut on.

WWE Breaking Point will take place on September 13th from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday, July 11th. Advertisements running in Canada are promoting the event as WWE's first Pay-Per-View in Montreal "in over a decade," despite the fact that Montreal hosted WWE No Way Out back in February 2003.

They should have just made the all submission thing take place at No Way Out or No Mercy. Both those named already fit the bill, without having to use some cheesy- TNA like name. I'll be interested to see how it all turns out though...

Aww they're going through with this crap? I like the name, but I know it means they're gonna do that gay ass submission thing.

"some cheesy- TNA like name"

LOL... Consulting wiki told me otherwise, buy I thought it WAS the name of a TNA PPV when I read this.

Unforgiven was such a lethal name.

Breaking Point, Turning Point etc. sounds like TNA.

^^^ LOL my thought too. It sounds so TNA-ish. WWE are losing their unique names. The bash, extreme rules and now breaking point.

Should be an interesting ppv, considering the only guys that I can recall off the top of my head hat use submission finishers are Jericho, Cena, and Edge.

No doubts that we will have in the near future a PPV called Hell Hunting Heaven (HHH) :shifty:

Meh, only the main events, so I have no problem with the submission thing.

I prefered the Scrambles though.

So now that unforgiven is gone does that mean they have forgiven everyone? =D

-I really do not see the all submission pay-per-view being great at all, like mentioned previously, there are not that many good submissionists left, granted this could bring out new submission specialists.
