Undisputed Pro Wrestling Federation

*November 2020 - March 2021*

A second surge of the COVID 19 Pandemic in early 2021 caused a sudden and tremendous downswing in business for the wrestling business, specifically several companies including WWE, All Elite Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, Ring of Honor, and Major League Wrestling. With the downturn in business, many of these companies had to offload contracts to save money. Combined with bad booking within WWE, several other superstars took the unprecedented move to ask for their release from the company. During this time, a new company was getting set up, based in the Midwestern region. With the financial backing and ownership via Target CEO and President Brian Cornell, the Undisputed Pro Wrestling Federation opened its doors early in December 2020. During that time between then and March, it focused on building a brand, consolidating resources, and preparing to make hires. With the sudden downturn of business, talent fell into their lap at an unprecedented rate. With business now picking back up, thanks to political policy and mass vaccination, the UPWF is finally able to commit to the business and garner a following. What will happen with this new company filled with massive stars? Is this the beginning of a new boom period for wrestling? Nobody really knows for sure.

Fireworks and pyrotechnics go off in the electric Target Center in Minneapolis Minnesota as Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness, and Pat McAfee welcomes us to the first-ever pay-per-view in Undisputed Pro Wrestling Federation history: Into The Fire! Schiavone hypes us up to some of the biggest matches in wrestling history tonight, such as Bryan Danielson vs. AJ Styles, Prince Devitt vs. Jon Moxley, Kevin Steen vs. Jay Lethal, and Samoa Joe vs. WALTER and much more! Pat McAfee tells us that tonight is the beginning of something special in the wrestling industry. Nigel McGuinness says that the entire world is gathered here to witness history! So without further ado, let's get the show on the road!

THE HANGMAN VS. THE ASIAN IDOL
Adam Page.jpg
Shinsuke Nakamura.jpg

Adam Page vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Our first matchup of the night sees Adam Page from AEW facing off against an NJPW legend and former WWE superstar Shinsuke Nakamura! The story of the match is the young Page being outmatched by the wily veteran Nakamura, who plays the de facto heel of the match. Tony Schiavone praises Page as a star of the future for the UPWF while Pat McAfee, taking the role of the heel commentator, talks up Nakamura as a possible future champion in the company. Some big spots include a big dive to the outside by Nakamura onto Page, which causes both to collide into the announcer table; a second big spot is a battle between Page and Nakamura to hit their finishers.

Page gets in position and is about to land the Buckshot Lariat, but Nakamura gets out of the way! Nakamura bounces off the ropes and looks to hit the Bomaye but Page dodges it and the two are at a complete stand-still. Both looked to have scouted each other out pretty well. The finish of the match finally comes with Nakamura and Page both rearing to keep going from this bout that has taken just over 10 minutes.

Someone has to break first though, and the person that does is, unfortunately, Adam Page as he attempts to go for his big finisher, the DeadEye. Nakamura looks doomed, but he fights his way out into a schoolboy pin! 1... 2... Page kicks out and scrambles to his feet, but Nakamura is there to meet him with a CRUSHING roundhouse to the face, Page collapses onto his knees, giving Shinsuke the perfect opportunity to HIT THE BOMAYE! 1... 2... 3!!! Shinsuke Nakamura has won the very first match in UPWF history, but Adam Page gave him a big run for his money.

Winner By Pinfall in 11:45 - Shinsuke Nakamura

Alicia Atout.jpg
AJ Styles.jpg

Alicia Atout Interviews AJ Styles

We go backstage to see Alicia Atout at an interview area with "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles. Alicia asks AJ how it feels to be a part of history here in the UPWF. Styles says that he's read all the papers, all the sheets, all the internet articles, all the news about this event, and he still can't believe it's happening; he says though that he's proud to be part of this, because when you strive to be the best company, you need the best wrestlers, "and lemme tell ya, Alicia, there's not a better man in the world than AJ Styles. Tonight, in the main event, I'll be facing off against Bryan Danielson. He and I have a lot of history together, we've had some killer matches, and sure, he's won a few of them; that was then, this is now. Bryan, you gotta know that when we climb into that ring and those thousands of fans scream our name, it's gotta be a good feeling, but I'm gonna stomp out that feel-good story because I'm here to win championships and prove I'm better than everyone else. That includes you, and you know I'll do whatever it takes to prove it."

BLOOD RUNS DEEP
Kevin Owens.jpg
Jay Lethal.jpg

Kevin Steen vs. Jay Lethal

Our second match of the evening is a grudge match over 8 years in the making. The history between these two wrestlers is well known to the crowd and Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness tell us more about it, based on their story in ROH. Jay Lethal never got his victory over Kevin Steen, and tonight, in this Blood Runs Deep (Falls Count Anywhere) match, it looks like he has the chance to get the job done here. The two go right at it as if all the animosity never went away. Steen controls the early match, with Lethal making a few false hope spots until Steen throws him outside and tosses him against the steel barricade.

Lethal is actually the first to pull out a weapon and use it, as while he's being tossed around by Steen, Lethal crawls under the ring. Steen goes to drag him out, but WHAM! Jay Lethal has a kendo stick and just whacked Steen over the head with it! Lethal is in control as he beats Steen black and blue with the stick, then tosses it away later. Steen bounces back with a big suplex over the barricade and into the crowd. They're brawling into the crowd until Steen tosses Lethal over the barricade again and grabs a steel chair... THWACK! Lethal just got his back cracked by the chair and he's down. Steen goes for the pin... 1... 2... Lethal kicks out!

Steen goes and grabs the steel chair again, and as he's turning around, Lethal was ready for it, with a BIG DROPKICK! The chair collides with Steen's face! Steen collapses with the chair resting on his face! Lethal takes advantage and hits a leg drop on the chair! He pushes the chair away-- Steen is busted open! Tony Schiavone screams that the dropkick by Lethal must have cracked open Kevin Steen's head! Lethal goes for the pin... 1... 2... KICK OUT! Steen kicked out just in the nick of time.

Lethal drags Steen to his feet and tosses him against the ring post, which causes Steen to collide with it and collapse to the ground, trying to crawl away. Lethal picks up Steen and goes to throw him over the barricade again... but Steen counters and instead throws Lethal THROUGH the Barricade! This moment of respite gives Steen a moment to get a notion of his senses and Steen picks up Lethal and tosses him into the ring. Lethal mounts another comeback and even attempts to go to the top rope for a high-risk maneuver. Steen grabs Lethal and the two fight up to the top rope... Lethal tries to push Steen off! It doesn't work as Steen clocks Lethal right in the jaw and SUPLEXES HIM OFF THE TURNBUCKLE TO THE OUTSIDE! Steen collapses to the ground below, but Lethal is propelled so far that he lands onto the announcer's table! The table stands firm, but Lethal folds like an accordion and appears badly hurt! Steen crawls onto him and covers him... 1... 2... 3! Kevin Steen has proven once again that he stands tall over Jay Lethal in this massive match-up.

The Shogunate vs. IconIc

Our next match of the evening is a Women's Tag Team match between two of the premier teams in the UPWF. We have The Shogunate, consisting of "Queen" Io Shirai and "Princess" Kairi Hojo facing off against IconIc: Jessie McKay & KC Cassidy. The Shogunate play very clear heels as IconIc are the faces in this match. The match is a fairly back and forth affair, with The Shogunate occasionally cheating and using dirty tactics to gain an unfair advantage over IconIc, with Jessie McKay playing Ricky Morton for most of the match.

The finish is with McKay making a comeback on Kairi Hojo and Io, finally giving the hot tag to KC Cassidy, who runs wild on Kairi and Io. Cassidy manages to put Io Shirai out of the match for a while with a massive Gory neck breaker on the outside, and focuses on Kairi Hojo! Kairi tries mightily but falls victim to the Legsweep DDT! Cassidy is about to pin Kairi... but look!

From seemingly out of nowhere, "Empress" Kana shows up and jaw-jacks with Cassidy! The ref tries to get Kana out of the ring area, but this serves as the distraction the Shogunate needed! Io recovers and starts fighting with Jessie McKay on the outside of the ring, and Kairi slowly recovers and attacks Cassidy! Kairi hits the Tokyo Slam and puts in the Ikari, causing Cassidy to writhe in pain and inevitably tap out! After the match, Io Shirai, Kairi Hojo, and Kana climb into the ring and taunt the crowd, clearly letting everyone know that they are working together.

Jade Chung Interviews Samoa Joe

In the back, we see Jade Chung in a different interview area from Alicia Atout talking to Samoa Joe, asking how he's feeling and whether or not he's ready to step into the ring with WALTER. "Jade, you don't even need to ask those kinds of questions. Everybody knows that when Samoa Joe is getting into the ring,
I'm always ready, regardless of the challenge. WALTER is no different from anybody else I have stepped into the ring with. He's going to learn, whether he likes it or not, that Joe is a killer."

Alicia Atout Interviews Jon Moxley

Alicia Atout talks to Jon Moxley in her interview area, asking Moxley about his first time ever match with Prince Devitt. Moxley says that for all the time they were in the same company for four years, they never once had a one-on-one match, and fans have been wondering who'd be the best between the two. "Tonight, they're gonna find out that I'm simply better than Devitt. He ain't got nothing to feel bad about, most folks are not as good as me, nor have the drive I do to compete every single day and prove myself. I proved myself as WWE Champion, and I proved myself as AEW Champion, and when the time comes, I'll prove myself in the UPWF. Prince Devitt, you'll see very soon."

FIRST TIME EVER!
Jon Moxley.jpg
Prince Devitt.jpg

Jon Moxley vs. Prince Devitt

Our next match is the FIRST TIME EVER match between two hugely popular wrestlers in the world today. Jon Moxley and Prince Devitt. Tony Schiavone talks about being in awe as the two men stare each other down, not backing down an inch. This crowd is ready for this match. The two start fighting, Moxley going for a brawl, and Devitt going for a technical affair, leading to a struggle between the two to dictate the pace of the match, which Devitt initially succeeds in doing.

It's an incredible back and forth affair between Moxley and Devitt, Moxley takes control after Devitt misses an early Coup-De-Grace attempt and twists an ankle, giving Moxley the extra incentive to attack the ankle. Devitt is beat from pillar to post by Moxley, who continually goes after the ankle to keep Devitt from being able to land the Coup-De-Grace or even attempt it again. Devitt finally escapes to the outside to catch his breath, but Moxley is following close behind him...

DEVITT HITS THE PELE KICK OUT OF NOWHERE AND DOWN GOES MOXLEY! Moxley is not sure what happened as he's on the ground and dazed. Devitt takes the opportunity to come to his senses, and now he's in control over Moxley, but he needs to take care of that ankle before it becomes his undoing. Devitt throws Moxley back in the ring and goes through his series of signature moves, looking to end this quickly. He climbs up to the top for the Coup-De-Grace again, but his ankle gives out and Devitt collapses down below!

Moxley slowly rises to his feet and decides enough is enough. He picks up Devitt and goes for the Death Rider, but Devitt fights and struggles, hitting a Northern Lights Suplex for the pin! 1... 2... KICK OUT! Moxley is miffed and quickly gets up and stomps on Devitt's ankle! The ref is trying to control Moxley, but the man has seemingly lost it! He continues to stomp, stretch, and try and dislocate Devitt's ankle and it becomes almost unbearable to watch. Moxley mercifully picks up Devitt and drops him with a Death Rider... 1... 2... 3... Pat McAfee praises Jon Moxley after the match for getting the job done, but Tony Schiavone begrudges the tactics that were performed; Devitt writhes and is attended to by doctors and the ref. The camera picks up Moxley shouting at Devitt, "I told you, so-called 'Prince'!"

SOMETHING TO PROVE
Tessa Blanchard_alt3.jpg
Tully Blanchard.jpg

Tessa Blanchard w/ Tully Blanchard
vs. Davina Rose

After a small break, we're introduced to our next match, a huge matchup between Tessa Blanchard and Davina Rose. Tony Schiavone calls Tessa Blanchard one of the biggest names in women's wrestling to have never signed with WWE. Meanwhile, Davina Rose is notable for being one of the Four Horsewomen of Wrestling, a major name, and a multi-time WWE Women's Champion. Pat McAfee points out that for both of these women, pride and prejudice are on the line. If Tessa Blanchard wins, it's proof that she's better than WWE's former best, and if Davina Rose wins, she shows everyone who really rules to roost.

Davina takes control of the match first, with her experience and babyface fire clearing Tessa out of the ring to confer with her father Tully. Davina continues to frustrate Tessa throughout the early going of the match, overpowering and outwrestling her time and time again, that is until Tully makes himself known on the outside, with a quick swipe to Davina's feet while she's running the ropes! Tessa quickly controls the match now as she hits move after move on Davina and focuses on the head and neck.

Tessa begins to grow confident in herself and begins toying with Davina, much to Tully's annoyance. Tessa shouts that she's the best and kicks Davina while she's down. Tony Schiavone mentions that Tessa should focus on finishing this match or Davina may just surprise her... which shocker, she does. Davina strikes back as Tessa tries to pick her up; this annoys Tessa and the two start having a back and forth... DAVINA IS WINNING THOUGH!

Davina Rose is a house of fire! She mounts a major comeback on Tessa and nearly hits the Rose Plant, but Tessa manages to struggle and scrapes the eyes of Davina! The ref admonishes Tessa while Davina saunters over to the ropes, her eyes still covered... wait! What's Tully Blanchard doing!? The ref isn't looking, he's too busy arguing with Tessa! TULLY JUST KNOCKED OUT DAVINA WITH HIS CANE! Davina falls face-first onto the mat and Tessa quickly capitalizes with a pin! 1... 2... 3! Tony Schiavone screams that this is a miscarriage of justice as Tully Blanchard stole the win from Davina! Pat McAfee declares that Davina simply failed to overcome all of Tessa's obstacles and that's why she lost. Tully and Tessa celebrate in the ring as the ref checks up on Davina Rose.

Alicia Atout Interviews Bryan Danielson

Backstage we see Alicia Atout interviewing Bryan Danielson. Alicia asks if he had heard AJ Style's comments about him earlier in the night. "Oh, I heard alright. I'm not surprised that AJ Styles would have such a high opinion of himself. He wants to talk about proving he's better than anyone, well nobody knows that drive more than me, Alicia. Let me tell you about my dedication to being the best wrestler ever. I worked my ass off for over 15 years to become the best in the world, I went from zero to hero in that timespan, I won so many championships, and I even main evented a WrestleMania. Then it was all taken from me because of a neck injury. I worked hard to get where I was and it was taken from me just like that. Well, after a few years, I healed up, came back stronger, and won a championship again. Then I was in yet another WrestleMania main event. Then WWE let me go. Kicked me out the door, 'goodbye, see ya, we don't need you anymore.' Well, Alicia, I gotta tell you, that ate at me. I gave everything I had and then they kicked me out. Now UPWF has given me a chance to prove I'm still something. So AJ Styles, you gotta understand, I need to prove I'm the best. Not just for all of my fans, but for myself as well. You better be ready for me when that bell rings because I'm more ready than I've ever been in my life."

FTR W/ Tenille Dashwood vs. Hanson & Rowe

Our sixth match of the evening is a traditional tag-team match featuring two of the best teams in the UPWF. Out first is FTR with Tenille Dashwood. The second out is Hanson & Rowe, two big Vikings. Hanson & Rowe dominate the early going of the match, using their size and strength to dominate the heel tag team. The heels have their own way of getting ahead, however, and thanks to Tenille distracting the ref every so often, they cheat and claw their way into control.

The big spot of the match is Hanson actually being beaten down for much of the match thanks to FTR taking control. They decide to end the match and attempt to go for their finisher... but HANSON POWERS THROUGH AND HE IS COMING BACK AS A MAN POSSESSED! Dax and Cash are thrown around the place as Hanson finally tags in Rowe, and HE RUNS WILD NOW! Tenille has seen enough and quickly gets up on the apron to jaw-jack with Rowe! Rowe growls at Tenille, but it gives FTR enough time to attack Hanson on the outside! Hanson is beaten down with a ring bell while the ref tries to pry Rowe away from Tenille and get things in order! FTR climbs into the ring and now they double-team Rowe! It looks like this is it for Hanson & Rowe, but HANSON GRABS Dax and drags him out of the ring! They're going at it outside! Cash notices this but realizes he has to do something now or they'll be screwed. He goes up top for a high-risk maneuver! Rowe climbs to his feet and Cash dives at him... IT LOOKS LIKE BOTH GOT KNOCKED UPSIDE THE HEAD! Cash and Rowe are on the ground as their heads collided with one another. Tenille on the outside screams for Cash to get to his feet!

Both teams look slightly dazed, Cash and Rowe slowly rise to their feet and start throwing punches at one another. The crowd reacts to each punch but eventually, Rowe starts winning! Cash hits a desperation shining wizard and both men are down! Hanson and Dax are still fighting on the outside! Wait a minute? Who the hell are these guys jumping into the ring!?

Brian Pillman Jr.jpg
Harry Smith_alt.jpg

What the hell are they doing here!? From out of nowhere comes Brian Pillman Jr. and Davey Boy Smith Jr. to attack both Rowe and Cash! The ref immediately goes for the bell and now all hell has broken loose! Pillman and Smith have chairs and are going to town on the two wrestlers, and when their partners jump into the ring, they're attacked too! FTR and Hanson & Rowe are knocked out with Pillman & Smith standing tall! Tenille Dashwood helps FTR out of the ring from a further beatdown as Pillman grabs a microphone and announces, "The Hart Hellions are here, motherfuckers! UPWF, prepare to get rocked!"

Jade Chung Interviews Miss Mercedes

Jade Chung asks Miss Mercedes about her match-up with "Empress" Kana. Mercedes mentions that she saw Kana interfere with the women's tag match earlier in the night; she tells Kana that her two pals better stay out of the way because this is between them. Mercedes tells Jade that for years she was the Boss of WWE, but now she's in UPWF, where she can blaze new trails and become even better than some Boss. Kana was an Empress in WWE and she claims to still be an Empress, but Mercedes declares to Jade that all it takes is one little loss to dethrone an Empress.

BATTLE OF THE AGES
Samoa Joe.jpg
Walter.jpg

Samoa Joe vs. WALTER

Tony Schiavone excitedly tells us that we are in for a big Hoss Match next, as Samoa Joe and WALTER go one on one for the first time in each other's career. Nigel McGuinness tells us Samoa Joe believes he is a god among men, and that WALTER has a chance to put down a god and cement himself as a huge deal in UPWF.

Unsurprisingly, both men immediately go for chops and strikes and these two big beefy men just look to beat the holy living shit out of one another. The chops they give echo loudly throughout the arena, and the crowd reacts to the nauseating noise. Samoa Joe begins to control as he throws suplexes and slams all over the place and WALTER just eats it like a man. It's a huge back and forth between these two throughout, and one of the big spots is WALTER of all people hitting a diving dropkick on Samoa Joe.

The finish is WALTER getting a little too cocky for himself despite being the face and slipping up while trying to hit his finisher, the Burning Lariat. Joe dodges and HITS THE KOKINA CLUTCH! WALTER IS LOCKED INTO THE KOKINA CLUTCH! WALTER struggles mightily and fights with everything he's got, even managing to get back onto his feet! But Samoa Joe keeps it locked in! WALTER thrashes around the ring and eventually collapses with Joe on top. The ref quickly checks on WALTER and calls for the bell after he doesn't respond to the ref's declarations. Samoa Joe lets go and smirks, celebrating his hard-fought victory over the European Mastodon. Tony Schiavone says that this was a huge statement win for Samoa Joe and that it should be noted that WALTER never tapped out, he simply lost consciousness.

Alicia Atout Interviews Tessa Blanchard and Tully Blanchard

Backstage is Tessa Blanchard, who is celebrating her victory over Davina Rose with Tully. Tessa declares that she's proven without a shadow of a doubt that she is the one to beat in the UPWF. Alicia asks Tully about the interference at the end of the match, and he denies having ever done anything. Tessa shouts at Alicia to back off and never question her old man again, she answers all the questions here. Tessa also tells Alicia that now that Davina Rose is over with, she can focus on bigger and better things.

THE EMPRESS VS. THE ONE
Kana_alt.jpg
Sasha Banks_alt6.jpg

Empress Kana vs. Miss Mercedes

We come to our penultimate match of the night, which sees Empress Kana going up against Miss Mercedes. Conspicuously absent is The Shogunate, who did not show up with Kana in this match. Pat McAfee declares that Kana can win even without them, which Tony Schiavone admits is very much true. Kana controls the early going of the match with hard-hitting strikes and heavy slams, with a few hope spots from Mercedes here and there to show off that she's not out of this match yet.

The match turns in Mercedes' favor when Kana goes for the Billiken (running hip attack) and MISSES as Mercedes ducked! Kana rebounds off the ropes as Mercedes SMASHES KANA WITH A SHINING WIZARD! Kana goes down and Mercedes finally takes control. She uses her speed and technical ability to outmaneuver Kana and deal some good damage on her. Mercedes slaps on the Bow and Arrow on Kana and now it looks like it's Kana that might be on the losing end of this affair!

Kana fights out of the Bow and Arrow and hits some nasty-looking elbows to Mercedes' head from behind her. Kana gets to her feet and does a backsplash onto Mercedes, going for the pin... 1... 2... kick out! Mercedes is not out of it quite yet! Kana smirks and stomps on Mercedes' stomach! Tony Schiavone says that Kana is "brutalizing Miss Mercedes!"

Mercedes is pushed into the corner as Kana goes for another Billiken into the corner, but MERCEDES gets out of the way! Mercedes grabs Kana and hits her with a monkey toss! Kana goes flying into the air and hits the ground hard, getting back up to her feet and turning around to be MET WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK BY MERCEDES! Timber! Down goes Kana and Mercedes goes for a pin! 1... 2... KICK OUT! Kana kicked out just in the nick of time! Mercedes looks pretty frustrated here as she thought she had it! Mercedes puts Kana in a Boston Crab, but Kana crawls to the ropes and out of the ring.

Mercedes leans out to grab Kana, but KANA KICKS MERCEDES IN THE HEAD WITH AN AXE KICK! Mercedes is down and Kana is now stalking Mercedes who slowly gets up to her feet... KANA LOCK! They're both in the middle of the ring and Mercedes doesn't have anywhere to go! She desperately elbows Kana in the stomach over and over! Kana refuses to let go, but the body scissors is released! Mercedes rolls back and attempts a surprise pin on Kana! 1... 2... KICK OUT! Kana kicked out and scrambled to her feet! She's met with a kick to the gut and a MERCEDES BENDS (Bank Statement)! KANA IS NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING WITH NOWHERE TO GO! Mercedes holds the crossface on Kana as long as she can, but Kana slowly gets her foot on the ropes!

Both wrestlers are down to their last gasps as they crawl to their feet. They stare at each other, Kana with a manic grin, and Mercedes with angered determination! Mercedes charges at Kana, which is all Kana needs to capitalize on Mercedes making the first mistake! She immediately side-steps Mercedes and rushes off the ropes! Mercedes has to stop and turn around quickly-- BILLIKEN! Mercedes is knocked for a loop as instincts kick in and she pops right back up even after getting a hip attack to the face! Kana swarms and HITS THE KANA LOCK AGAIN! Mercedes fights and fights, but the pain is simply too much for her! She's tapping out! Miss Mercedes tapped out to the Kana Lock!

THE BEST VS. THE BEST
AJ Styles.jpg
Daniel Bryan_alt5.jpg

AJ Styles vs. Bryan Danielson

We finally come to the main event of UPWF Into The Fire, the most anticipated match of the night, AJ Styles vs. Bryan Danielson. The two men stare each other down and Styles is cocky, assured of himself, not pressed. Bryan is focused, content, and unemotional. As soon as the bell rings, the two look at one another and begin to step closer, when suddenly DANIEL BRYAN SMASHES STYLES WITH A RUNNING KNEE OUT OF NOWHERE! AJ Styles is knocked loopy while Bryan goes for a quick pin! 1... 2... KICK OUT! AJ Styles kicks out and escapes the ring wondering what the hell just happened, checking to see if anything on his face is broken. Bryan wants AJ to get back into that ring and fight him.

Bryan controls the early going, and it looks like it's all Bryan when he goes for another running knee and it's AMAZINGLY COUNTERED INTO A CALF-KILLER! Bryan is writhing in pain and fighting to escape while AJ cinches in even tighter! Eventually, Bryan escapes and climbs to his feet but it gives AJ enough time to gain control of the pace! Now it is Bryan in trouble as AJ dominates him.

It becomes a big back and forth affair between the two of them as Bryan and AJ trade big moves between each other but not going for the pin. For these men, it's their finishers that they know will end it. One of the big spots in the middle of the match between a few rest spots is when AJ hits a Superplex on Bryan. Another is when Bryan hits the diving headbutt onto AJ on the outside of the ring.

Both men are exhausted, but AJ is less so as he HITS THE PHENOMENAL FOREARM, he crawls to his feet and drags Daniel Bryan up... HE'S GOING FOR THE STYLES CLASH! Daniel Bryan manages to fight and claw his way out of the move and AJ decides to go for another Phenomenal Forearm, which BRYAN COUNTERS INTO A FLYING KNEE! AJ STYLES IS DEAD AND THIS CROWD CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED! Bryan goes for the pin... 1... 2... 3!!! DANIEL BRYAN JUST BEAT AJ STYLES! Bryan sits in the ring with a glazed look in his eyes, not realizing what just happened yet. He looks out and celebrates shortly after the result is announced and he looks slightly emotional, knowing that this was his shot at proving he still has it. Tony Schiavone thanks us for being a part of history with UPWF Into The Fire and closes out the show by declaring, "Bryan Danielson has found his glory once more!"
