I thought it was common knowledge I'm a big fan of hers, I've kind of soured on Becky Lynch recently due to her poor showings with Alexa Bliss so I'd say Charlotte is my favourite women on the main roster.

Yup, Lynch has fallen way down for me too. I do like Bliss, though.

One of the biggest issues with Wreddit and Womens Wrestling is that they focus too much on attractiveness as opposed to in ring work. Becky Lynch is great but the way they portray her is that she's on Asuka's level and isn't allowed to show it when in reality she has a lot of flaws. One of the biggest reasons her matches with Alexa have been lackluster is that she rushes in all these technical holds and spots when Alexa is still too green for it and its like she's rushing 20 minutes of stuff into 10 minutes of time.

From a purely charisma and character stand point Alexa Bliss is one of the best in WWE as a whole, her in ring work is hit or miss but with more experience and time she's definitely the future of the division as a heel. She had a great match with Bayley on NXT TV a while back I recommend checking out.

If you visited Wreddit everyday you'd think Charlotte was a shit in ring worker who is carried by nepotism, their opinion on her is so negative.
So...they must all have the same IQ as a garden snail right?

What's their opinion All Botch Everything Eva Marie?
Bayley was brought in because they panicked about Sasha's injury before realizing she could come back in a week.
I think they waited too long to elevate Bayley...plus she should have gone to SmackDown
(in my opinion) It should have been two Horsewomen to each brand.

But...and I adore her...isn't that more Alexa's doing?

Man...Really? That's a shame...

Well...I am guilty of that in some respect...but I appreciate the WWE ladies
as wrestlers and performers first..and I will admit the looks are nice...but
in-ring and promo skills are more important these days.

That's a fair call...its kind of like my Cesaro theory...he's almost too good
and could make anyone else look like a rookie. Becky just needs a higher
quality opponent...which hopefully will come in the form of a heel Mickie James.

I would say THE best...

To quote an animated movie about dinosaurs...Yep! Yep! Yep!

Its not that Becky Lynch needs a better opponent its more she needs to tone down her style when she's wrestling "lower tier" wrestlers, Becky Lynch is a great wrestler I would be lying if I told you otherwise after watching Vs Sasha Banks. And I can't help but agree with Meltzer that Sasha Banks is one of the best Womens Wrestlers the US has produced I mean jesus her track record explains itself. Her matches with Bayley alone reminded me why I loved wrestling.

So...you think its a case of "calm down and stop rushing"?

Yeah...Sasha is pretty amazing...I mean she is still a bit
too slight...but yeah...The Boss is Awesome...

Its partially that yes, I'm sure there are other issues someone smarter than me kind find. The classic statement I was taught is "If you think you're going too slow, slow down".

This is according to ESPN....

Rusev
Cesaro
Sami Zayn
Tye Dillinger
Dolph Ziggler
Bray Wyatt
The Miz
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Read the article HERE.

I agree about the first 3 for sure, without a shadow of a doubt and I am not even a Sami fan.
Tye is somewhere in the middle for me. I am sure he will be used better this year.
Dolph has been misused most of his career, not just in 2016 :dawg:
Bray... Ehh I think they need to either piss or get off the pot with him.
The Miz... THE MIZ!? How was he underutilized!? He is actually in the position of giving credibility to a title not the other way around. Sorry ESPN, I disagree with this one completely.
And then there were two... Ehh, I can take um or leave um.

Main focus for me here is...
In 2017, for the love of all things wrestling...

USE RURU AND CESARO PROPERLY! :rusev:

I like most of this list, but the miz did great this year and only proved why he should win the belt in 2017. Bray Wyatt did better than what he does most years. He won the tag titles and converted a legend. He also won the survivor series match. I'd say his year is good as well.

Dolph ziggler did more this year than what he normally does as well. He won the IC title and was in quite a few main events, including summerslam and won big number 1 contenders opportunities. More than what he normally does if you ask me.

Other than that, I agree with the list.

Yeah when I read the Miz and their reasoning, made 0 sense.

This is going to sound insane coming from me but... I have very few issues with the list.

Rusev is a classic case of "you can't push everyone"... As horrible as the Raw writing is and how many issues that's created, I doubt that the "utilization" of Rusev has really been that big of an issue. You can argue he's Raw's top "heel" behind Owens and Jericho, and from the entertainment of Y2J and Owens probably being a better talent you wouldn't put Rusev above him... Plus most of us cared about Rusev's feuds. I'd like to see a main-event push for the guy, but if you reverse the roles we'd like to see a main-event push for Owens...

Cesaro... I loved the idea of Cesaro's title shot being a Universal one as much as anyone, but while we all love him in the ring and could EASILY buy him as a top guy... as much as it's hard to imagine this dude going super-saiyan and pummeling 6 dudes at once being a midcarder... I reckon a Cesaro WT push won't be too good of an idea with the top star having to cut 20 minute promos every week

Sami Zayn, they're finally getting off their asses with this guy and quite a moment too soon. The fact that he defeated Owens, then was left off the Summerslam card was beyond stupid.

Tye Dillinger, a better year than we could have imagined in 2015. Lol @ this pick

Dolph Ziggler, k

Bray Wyatt has to be taken like a porcelain doll. He's SUCH damaged goods that they've really gotta gradually build him up from the ground up. The Orton thing was a good start.

The Miz. Lol

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have become such cautionary tales that it's hard to put on this list... I'm NOT a fan, but I actually agree with this one purely creatively. Had they won the belts at Clash the entire tag division would be in a better place.

I can't think from the top of my mind, but there ARE a lot of talents that are underutilized. If you asked me a year ago that question, it would be Seth Rollins without a doubt. But more stars are stepping up, and WWE most of the time aren't utilizing them. Example; Wade Barret - he disappeared around 6 months ago, because he quit according to a dirtsheet on my phone. In that same dirtsheet, he was quoted that he had little creative control over his character - which led him to have no passion - no excitement. Nothing.

Which is a fucking shame! I liked Bad News Barret. It almost made me excited for every Monday to see his next "heat." It was vintage WWE right there. But noooooo.... Fuckin' WWE. Putting a damper on everything.

I know what WWE was trying to do with Barrett, but let him mold his own character for christ sakes! King Barrett was not only stupid, it was forced. It felt forced. I wasn't getting Barrett in his best "impression."

I was watching the Sami Zayn Last Man Standing match, and I'm thinkin' "Wow, this guy has a lot of potential if he can withstand all that shit."

I don't think many people will agree wth this, but Noam Dar. I know I'm Scottish so I could just be seeing that out of favouritism, but I watched him in WCPW, and I think he's got so much charisma, and great in-ring ability, so him being stuck as Alicia Fox's stalker just kinda pisses me off. It's a stupid angle and it's not going to help anyone. He's not benefitting from it, it's not helping revive Alicia Fox's already dead career, and it's a waste of Cedric Alexander's talent
