Talkin' about buyrates? Ratings? I'm just going off memory here, but Raw did 3.9 one week pre-WM, right? And that WM had no business passing 700,000 buys before Rock showed up, they were in serious shit before Rock came in and (In my opinion anyway) pretty much outdrew everyone by himself. You tell me how those Cena/Punk PPVs and Raws with "some of the best buildup in years" did. >_> Anyone who doesn't believe Rock isn't the last true draw in American wrestling is crazy. No offense to 'Taker or Cena, they don't transcend wrestling the way Rock does, it's not even close to what match would get more buys, although Taker would be a better match at this point and more significant to the WWE in the long run.
It's sad because you'd think if it wasn't known to him already he'd realize now how much wrestling needs/wants him.

The more I see these ongoing reports of Hogan leaving TNA soon, the more I see him coming back to WWE just in time for a match with Taker at mania. I mean, just a mattwer of weeks ago Hogan was basically confirmed to be wrestling Sting at BFG, now all of the sudden the reports and rumors are that the match might not even happen at all.

We all know Hogan is dying to have one last match with the WWE. As shitty of a match it would end up being, the nostalgic value would be reidculous. And imagine having Rock/Cena and Hogan/Taker on the same PPV, would be the PPV with the biggest buyrate in history without a doubt.

The Foley match has me reallllly intrigued as well. I would absolutely fucking love to see those two go at it one more time. And lets be honest, Foley still has one more classic match left in him. The dude was TNA Champ not that long ago and he was still putting on awesome matches. And as said before the two could just have an all out hardcore brawl and that way both guys could have an easier time putting on a classic, given their age and all.

So idk, as of now Ill predict Foley/Taker or Hogan/Taker..This is match number 20 for The Deadman, he needs to have a larger than life, big name opponent. And absolutley no one on the roster at the moment fits that bill.

The last Hogan/Taker match was awful and that was what, 10 years ago? No way that match happens today.

Hogan made it clear his dream match is Steve Austin... he won't get Taker... that match serves no purpose for anyone...

^^^It's not Hogan's dream match, it's Hogan's dream payday. Thankfully Austin flat out refused to work him at Mania 18 and until recently has told Hogan to go fuck himself for all the fucking he did when he was on top. In a way I'm hoping Trips and Punk wrap up by Rumble so there's the hope of Punk-Austin. That happens and I don't care if the rest of the card is 2 hours of diva matches, I'll pre order mania in a heart beat.

I'd rather see Taker/Hogan than Austin/Hogan, to be honest.

Undertaker could of been 20 and 0, like, 5 years ago.
They didn't start using him in every single 'Mania until late 1990s early 2000's

Spot on.
Hogan is like 75% plastic and/or metal from the ribs down.

LMFAO @ thinking he missed Mania's galore when he's only been there 21 years and is 19-0.

I mean, he has missed a lot of time during certain periods, but never enough to think he has missed Mania's... he competed in his first one the year he debuted.
