Didn’t 2001 Undertaker just team with Kane the whole year.
More or less; it’s the DDP/Sara stuff. He was working in tags cause he was outta shape. Taker was normally working at 295-305 in 2001 he was working at at 325-330. He was out of shape

To this day I think they’ve never had a good match together. WM14 may be the most enjoyable but I don’t even consider that good

I liked the Inferno match and thats about it lol that 2010 feud was depressing

I said it in another thread; some great wrestlers just don’t have chemistry. Taker and Kane are just one example

that wasn’t Taker’s fault was it. He didn’t come up with the DDP storyline did he

It’s not the angle. It’s the fact that Taker wasn’t in the shape to perform. I just told you he was performing 25-30 pounds over his normal weight.

The DDP angle was dumb as fuck. Doesn’t change that Taker was not in ring shape

He didn't like that DDP wanted to plan out matches in detail and got Vince to effectively bury him....allegedly

And I just thought about it; even the inferno match wasn’t great.

For as deserved as this HOF spot is, Taker didn’t start having consistent great matches til this side of the Millennium

I'd never dispute that but he had all time character work, then he became timeless when he started putting on classic on top of it.

And the inferno match isn't great by any means but I thought it was a great spectacle and that spot of Taker diving over the flames was amazing, but no other Kane match was good lol 14 and 20 both had great lead up but you don't wanna rewatch it from bell to bell, that wasn't the important part anyway

Not even allegedly; Page said it. He was gonna get a push(don’t know if he was gonna beat Taker at KOTR) but the wrong guy didn’t like him and was DOA

I saw both 14 and 20 live and I remember being hype with 20 and the return of the real Deadman. Then I saw the match and thought “that was it?”

I'd always heard he had Sara pin DDP specifically cause he was annoyed with DDP :heston

He killed DDP at KOTR cause he didn’t like him

One of the few times you’ll see Undertaker actually bury someone

that’s cause he was told to work a slow style. It was only after 15 years that he was able to evolve the character and be allowed to have athletic matches despite still being The Deadman.
