“Yeah, I could do it. I couldn’t do it to the standard that I wanted to do it,” he said about wrestling. “But, I mean, yeah, there’s certain things that I don’t feel like I would be able to do. After I did it [the WrestleMania 40 appearance], I came back and I was like, ‘I’m good now. I don’t need to do this again.’ Not saying that I wouldn’t — if they needed something like that again — but I’m not going to have a match or I’m not coming out of retirement.”

I bet you if HHH told him they were going to do him vs Sting in a cinematic fight he'd do it.

From the same interview....don't suggest this too hard bc Cody leaves companies instead of turning heel :lol

His numbers are way too big to turn him.

In regards to Cody, I wouldn’t be surprised if they went the Cena route with him and kept him babyface til he was ready to hang it up

It's gonna take a while, but Cody will definitely have a big heel run in the E. Possible that we'll see the start of it as early as the second half of 2025, I can imagine.

Taker has no intentions to come out of retirement.

So at 59 and 36 years of wrestling you’ve decided to stay retired? Congrats lol.

I’m totally fine with him doing one off spots but he should def never have another match

I don't want to see Taker wrestle again. There's nothing left for him to accomplish as his resume says it all. I want him to continue to enjoy retirement.

Bro has 2 replaced hips and 2 new knees. Running to the ring at Mania sounded like a chore.

Sit your ass down somewhere and keep telling stories

But none of us can even begin to imagine the rush someone gets from a pop like Taker gets. I imagine it’s hard to walk away from that completely. Like his mania pop alone was worth it all I’m sure.

So let him make appearances and do a chokeslam here and there

What you thought I thought he should wrestle?

I know you think little of me but come on

I’m just saying that pop had to be euphoric
