undertaker... bad ass gimmick comeback please!

over the past few months, the undertakers himself and his classic gimmick have become incredibly boring and repetitive, basically, he sucks to be plain and simple about it, its just true. back in 02, undertaker was maybe the greatest heel in the buisness, excellent gimmick, beat the hell out of every1 and worked the mic so well, but now, i kringe just listening to him talk about hell blah blah blah. He needs to go back to his heel persona, and i mean the badass taker with that kickass music he had.

Hell no. That character is beyond played by now, and not mentioning the fact that it makes absolutely no sense.

I loved the American Badass and would love to see him return one more time under that gimmick. In the past 2 years, the Undertaker has become more played out as the minutes pass. Either creative has no ideas for him or they just don't want to try anything new. It's too much hocus pocus. Everyone has seen it before and thus it makes it stale. Most of Undertaker's matches aren't really memorable. Sure, I loved TLC and Hell in a Cell with Edge, but beyond that, everything else sucks. The only other match I can think of is vs. Batista at Mania. Big Evil made you look at the Undertaker in a more realistic mindset. Everyone knows the DEADMAN gimmick is far from being real. WWE shoots for being real and trying to cover up the fakeness of wrestling, but overall look at the Undertaker! COME ON! Sure I love the Undertaker, but it's getting old after 20 years. It worked in the attitude era because basically anything worked in the attitude era, hell even Billy Gunn was successful! Wrestling gets old fast because it's not interesting, so in order to keep interest I think they should switch it up and bring back the badass.

American Badass Persona pwned! Especially the promos with that persona. But still, The Deadman Persona is my favorite.. But, An American Badass/Big Evil Persona return would be awesome!

yeah, he needs something new. And personally I believe Taker would love to go back to that gimmick seeing is how he was basically being the real life Mark Callaway (spelt it wrong) when he was out there. For some reason he doesn't seem very happy about what is going on and I think he may even be forcing it a little. Maybe creative should see how he feels and work on something to turn him heel and back into the badass/ big evil

definately not back to the "American Badass" garbage. I do however think they should open up his character a bit...more Ministry era Taker..that way he wouldn't be so over the top and open himself up to more promos and such.

Even though I liked that gimmick, its kinda too late for Undertaker to change his gimmick. I don't know when he will retire but I'm pretty sure its soon and he should retire with the deadman gimmick. I agree though that he needs somthing to spark this persona.

You guys may not know this, but Undertaker has alot of pull in the business with creative and how his character is played out. He has more power over Triple H. There was an interview with Vince McMahon a while back on Rajah.com if you go back to page three of four you might find it. Anyway Vince clearly says that Undertaker controls what happens to his character.

There was talks about him doing his storyline from the new Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 where he possesed Santino and Finlay. But Undertaker shot it down because it wasn't real enough or something.

So whatever is going on with the Undertaker is the Undertaker doen.

I know he's about to start a feud with Umaga very soon. Maybe by than we could see a change in him.

The American Badass gimmick would make more sense for Taker, its more realistic and I think the fans would get behind him more if he brought it back. Unfortunately, its not happening simply because Taker's career is coming to an end and its too late to change his gimmick now.
