Trevor Lee.

Can't say he's underrated but I'm surprised he isn't a champion yet even though he's defeated just about everyone on the indies. :russo:

Because he's still a no name.

For puroresu, it's Kushida. He's underrated and has been the standard bearer for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship for a while now. He's had rivalries with Bushi, Hiromu Takahashi, and great matches with Will Ospreay and Kyle O' Reilly. He had that hard hitting match with 51-year old Jushin Thunder Liger in a passing-of-the-torch match.

And his finisher hoverboard lock is painful to watch!

Taguchi. People seem to only see his comedic antics and forget every 4+ star match he busts out on the regular.

Big match gooch

I thought that too at first then I saw him work and he was much more than just a comedic stoog. Really a great worker.

After @Stopspot turned me onto Sami I've been a mark for him. It's interesting seeing styles clash, but I am a huge Joey Ryan mark tbh, so take this shit with a grain of salt.

Sami's had a nice little return to the independent scene after his WWE run. My only worry with him as far as his work is that he will end up stretching himself thin eventually as he starts working more and more places and taking on more roles. Like he just became booker for Combat Zone. That's a fairly big company so it's not like it will just take an hour of the month to put together a show.

Yeah I read that thread yesterday, and was wondering what your thoughts were. Is he like a Raven type (cant remember his full name) person, who can do backstage as well as work? Or is this a transition to leadership only?

He's young enough to do both and I have heard nothing about him slowing down. I think it's just a matter of him adding stuff to his resume and CZW wanting new people in charge of their book.

It will be interesting to see if he can handle other guys creatively as well as he does himself.

Nathan Cruz. I saw him around a year ago in UK's NGW promotion which used to show up on What Culture(And wrestletalkTV for most of the beginning before Culture ruined it)'s youtube channel and his match with Matt Myers astounded me because of the pure emotion that went into it and the great storytelling. And since then I've been wanting the guy to get more exposure because the kid freaking deserves it. Same with Matt Myers tbf but I don't know what it is but I relate a bit more to the Nathan Cruz character.
