Texas Deathmatch makes sense considering the location and the knee injury from Shinzo. Though if you wanted to keep the name, sometimes a Cage match main event can be fun.

Texas Deathmatch makes sense considering the location and the knee injury from Shinzo. Though if you wanted to keep the name, sometimes a Cage match main event can be fun.

My favorite is always booking stips around the angles. Jeff came to me with the idea and I loved it.

I especially love the NJPW/AEW version that adds knockout as well as the 10 counts. We'll be using that version. No pins, either.

I did that at times as well when I could, to mixed results. Like once to add heat to a match which was heading for a blow-off the next show, I had someone get busted open during a pre-match attack (leading to First Blood the next show) though the person complained... And I had a situation similar to what happened with Jeff and the NT/Bordeaux's match where I didn't have as much time (because I had to take it last minute from someone else) though I did TRY to do a comeback but it wasn't enough for him.

I've had people complain, too, over results, but it's like dude we gotta tell a story here. You should see some of the blowups I've dealt with.

My thing at the end of day is I gotta make good shows. If you're just interested in winning word battles, probably not the fed for you.

No problem fixing matches, though, because I do believe in delivering good matches, I meant if they complain over getting attacked to setup angles.

Honestly, even keeping it in Kayfabe works since she got it in Japan (CJW pays a budget for hair, makeup, physio, spa, etc, when she is there) and hasn't come back in time to get a new picture.
