A Ukrainian teenager has amassed a huge online following after making herself look like a Japanese anime character come to life, with enormous eyes and a doll-sized waist.
Anastasiya Shpagina, 19, started posting videos of herself online in July of last year and her YouTube channel has since attracted more than 1.9 million views in total.
Ms Shpagina creates her cartoon-style look by colouring her hair with bright dyes and spending 30 minutes painstakingly applying dramatic makeup.
She now has more than 10,000 fans on Facebook, and has appeared on Ukrainian TV.
Ms Shpagina also has a dedicated following in Japan, where dressing up as anime cartoon characters is a popular pastime.
One makeup tutorial video Ms Shpagina posted online shows how she makes her eyes appear twice their natural size — the clip has attracted nearly 500,000 hits.
But it is believed the teenager wants to go even further to achieve her desired look and is considering undergoing eye surgery, the Daily Mail reports.
Ms Shpagina is not the first teen to have found fame online by making herself look like a doll.
In March, a US girl made headlines for her doll-style beauty tutorials, while in April a 21-year-old Russian girl found fame for her striking resemblance to a Barbie doll, enhanced by exaggerated make-up and skimpy clothes.
