Has anyone noticed that most of the current champs are pretty dominant in their division? I don't see any of them loosing their titles very soon.

Yea dude, the UFC champs are their most famous fighters and most dominant. I would say the first to lose would be Nogueira.

Damn straight there dominant. My three favorite fighters have easily fought there way's to the top. Randy, Gsp, and Penn are gods of MMA. My sig truly says it all.

I don't watch the UFC as often as some, so I have a question.

What does it mean by interim champion? The real champ is injured I get that, but what happens to the interim champ when the real champ returns? How does all that work?

Well Peeps, I am not quite sure, but GSP was the interim WW Champion when Serra got injured. The deal with Couture is he abandoned UFC while he was HW Champ. So they are having legal battles, and since Couture is still under contract they can't do anything about it I guess. I never really understood it either.

Don't the interim champs get a title shot against the legit champs when they return?

I think it's pretty obvious Couture won't be coming back anytime soon, so Nogeira is as good as the real Champion. I think first to lose there belt will either be GSP because I don't rate him that high and he has Jon Fitch tonight. Or Forrest Griffin, even though he is one of my favourites, the division is full of talent, and I don't think he is better than all of them yet.

Plus with Silva looming to go to Light Heavyweight, Forrest has some real competition just with Liddell, Rampage, and a handful of other great stars.

Well I think it is pretty obvious how much competition is lacking in the Lightweight and Welterweight Division considering GSP and Penn might be coming up if UFC allows Penn to move up a weight class for the fight.

Why do they insist on keeping Couture listed as champ? Can't they strip him or make him legally fight to defend it or forfeit? I love Capt. America but this has to stop.

The rest of that lineup is crazy awesome! I don't see any man losing it soon. Well, Griffin, maybe. Someone needs to step it up.

Updated with the new Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans, plus Frank Mir being the new Interim Heavyweight Champ.

That's one hell of a line up right there.
