Looks like Belfort may be taking out another fighter.

Vitors probably the second best MW in the world, he'll just keep knocking guys off but find it hard to get another shot at Anderson (who he'll never beat).

I can see Faber and Mendes having the same problem at midgetweights.

Don't disagree with you either, I think Sonnen is the only other 'elite' MW and Belfort is a bad matchup for him.

Rockhold and Jacare are good fighters though, gave 185 a boost with those coming in. Should both be good fights, didn't expect Phillipou to crush Boestch last time out.

Vitor is a good test to see if Rockhold can hang with a good top middleweight. With a Rockhold win i am sure we will get a Silva vs Rockhold fight.

I think at this rate Vitor could possibly earn a second shot at Silva. Specially if he wins decisively in this fight. And if he gets a second shot at Silva hopefully he won't hold back for 2 minutes like last time

Well... this fight is coming up next Saturday and I can say the only fight I'm really looking forward to is the main event. Hopefully the rest of the card really lights up.

They've been hyping the main event up a ton the last few days so i'm definitely looking forward too it, I'm going with Rockhold to take a decision victory over Vitor.

My pick is for Vitor to score yet another finish. He has been on a vicious roll as of late.

Philippou is injured and got replaced by Chris Camozzi. It's very unfortunate, don't see how Jacare loses now.

Forgot to post that a little while ago, but yeah this is pretty much a gimme fight for Jacare now, Philippou at least had a punchers chance to take the win.

Only watched the main event, but gat damn is Belfort good.

TRT given him a second wind in his career, doing Edson Barboza type shit at the age of 36? Wut. UFC stuck in a hard place now, he's just going to keep getting title shots over and over like Faber does at the midgetweights.

Yeah epic KO for Belfort, if thats what TRT does bring it on. That said though he seems to have refound his fire, aggression and passion, couple that with his more varied striking and Vitors better than ever. Vitor - Silva II has to happen, I'd pick those two to beat everyone else in the MW division, with Chael gone they're the only elite fighters at MW.

Jacare could get there though, he's quicksand on the ground, more you struggle the worse it gets. Choked Camozzi out in about 3 seconds.

Yeah but the difference tween Vitor and Faber is Vitor is fighting the top guys and beating them. Faber is either moving weight or fighting some gatekeeper of the division.

But I did kinda watch the show. Jacare just ... dang... that guy was out in a matter of less than 5 seconds. I haven't seen anyone put someone out from that choke so quickly. There is usually a struggle and the such but that was like... dang.

And Vitor... yeah that TRT is really puttin a new life in him. Its like he's back to the younger Vitor but more efficient with his striking. At this rate... Silva/Belfort II will happen. Belfort is taking out every contender... knocking them out. He is looking pretty unstoppable right now.

Of course the knockout of the year happens on a FX card when I'm not watching. Oh well that was absolutely insane. I was rooting for Vitor and happy he delivered. I'm not sure what Silva's plans are for after Weidman because he wants a super fight. I think Vitor qualifies as a huge title fight. He may not be GSP or Jones, but he's still a guy that gets people interested.
