This event takes place on July 11th, 2012 from San Jose, California.

It's not really a bad looking card, not sure that Weidman should be main eventing a show but at the same time it's only a Fuel Show, so it's not that big of a deal. Expect Munoz to put on a show, he was supposed to fight Chael Sonnen back on the Fox card in a number one contenders fight but was injured in training camp and replaced by Bisping. Aaron Simpson is making his welterweight debut on this card as well and he'll have a pretty tough test in Jon Fitch. Brandon Vera returns to action as well and will take on up and coming James Te Huna.

Ewwwwww.

Looks crap IMO, some terrible styles clashes and very boring fighters.

Only interested in how Vaughan Lee does, really.

I will tune in to see Brandon Vera lose so that UFC can cut him again, why UFC decided to rehire him I do not know. Be good for Te-Huna to beat Vera convincingly to get closer to getting onto the PPV main cards. Munoz vs. Weidman should be alright, would be very surprised if Munoz didn't win.

Re: UFC on Fuel 4: Weidman vs. Munoz

Wow they made this card kinda sloppy.... God why does the UFC not realize this, casual fans do not care about these guys. They could put on the best fight ever, but heck no one will care but hardcore fans. UFC stop it, you wonder why popularity has gone down. Excessive need for cards that don't matter.

Oh btw go Munoz!

Munoz should win this so he can have a shot at the title. He may not fight Anderson because they're buddies but if Sonnen wins then it's a done deal already.

Re: UFC on Fuel 4: Weidman vs. Munoz

Glad that James Te-Huna hasn't been dumped from the card even though he no longer has an opponent. He has been impressive since his loss to Gustafsson and hopefully he can continue that streak.

James Te Huna is now fighting Joey Beltran on this show, should have some fireworks in that fight.

Can anyone tell me what is so good about Weidman seen as though I know literally nothing about him. The only fight i've seen of him was his last again Maia I think it was where they both absolutely stunk the joint out and i'm seeing people saying that he should be next to face Anderson. Is he actually any good, like better than most of the other names in the MW division like Bisping/Sonnen/Stann or even Munoz who he's fighting? What's his fighting style / base too?

I don't think he's better than any of the guys you listed, he's mainly a wrestler. I guess he has the potential to be good, but i don't really see it. Definitely don't see him getting the next crack at Silva though, maybe Munoz though.

He's got big fights as a reward for stepping in at short notice.

He did it against Sakara and Maia with less than 2 weeks notice which might explain why the latter sucked balls, at least Weidman had teh excuse he was drained from the weight cut.

Munoz should wreck this guy w/ G&P, but I am atrocious at predicting shit lately.
