Am I being too critical by saying I wasn't overly impressed with Glover? Like I was expecting so much more from him given his last performance and the way everyone has talked him up.

Funnily enough putting him up against Gustafsson now like BRJP is probably the best option.

Similar to what ETM said, it was more a case of Rampage looking good than Glover being bad. It was 'Pages best performance since the Machida fights to his credit, and for all his faults he is still a durable guy.

All I can say is Cerrone flopped hard again, just like the Diaz fight. So, so disappointed with him but pettis did a job and looked great doing so. I thought Johnson/Dodson was too close to call too.

Fun fights, looking forward to Aldo/Edgar.

Cowboy might turn out to be another Bisping. Good enough to beat 90% of the guys in his division but just can't win the big ones. Though Pettis was on point tonight, one of the msot exciting guys to watch in MMA when he's not being wrestlefucked by the man whose career Greg Jackson has killed.

Ended up missing the live show as I was at the Tour Down Under. Caught the replay and it was a good show. Mainevent was really good, Johnson did a great job battling back and getting the win. I am not a fan of the jockey divisions either but it was a good fight. So disappointed with Rampage vs. Glover mainly because I expected fireworks. Glover was so tentative and it was like he didn't want to jump in and get caught making a silly mistake. Impressive win by Pettis, I agree that he should be next in line for a title shot now.

Yeah I finally caught up and watched the Fox fights... but before that... i the prelims... Bader looks to finally be mounting a comeback. That was a pretty good choke he had on the Janitor. Tapped him out in barely over a minute.

But Pettis... mannn that kick. Ouch. He went for something off the cage but that wasn't too good. The cartwheel kick woulda been cool if he wasn't met with a knee to the midsection. But Cerrone just ... didn't have it. Nate Diaz dominated him in their fight. And this time Pettis just kicked him down the ladder with that shot to the liver. Pettis has to be the next guy in line to challenge either Henderson or Melendez. He has proven once again he deserves the shot and this time hopefully it sticks.

Glover... I was expecting a TKO or something. Not a decision but Rampage showed up to fight and actually showed leg and body kicks. Its like... why couldn't you do this your entire fighting career? I mean I think he threw more kicks in this fight then in his other 42 fights combined. But he has proven to be very durable. Not gonna miss him though. He really wore out his welcome. Just wish he woulda been knocked out in his last fight but hey a loss is a loss. But Glover... hopefully he does better in his next fight.

Main event... it was good. Fast paced and full of action. It was good.

Pettis is going to sit out and wait this time apparently. Smart move, theres only guys like Maynard and Miller for him to fight and he risks having another Title shot wrestlehumped away. And besides he's earned the shot after that performance and being the only guy in the UFC to beat Bendo.

I would laugh so hard if UFC managed to sign Eddie Alvarez (he has an immediate title fight clause in the contract offered) and gave him the shot instead of Pettis.

Personally I didn't think the Flyweight fight that was close really. I had it 4-1 for Mighty Mouse despite Dodson rocking and hitting him with a few big punches.

Mannn it would suck if Pettis would have to sit out once again for another guy to get a title shot. That would just be messed up.

If Pettis gets wrestlehumped so be it. Shows he is not a grade A talent if he can't get off his back. Pettis is good, but he needs to prove he cant fight consistently to consider him a threat and household name. Pettis is mad he gets no commercials well know shit. When you barely fight how do you expect commercials like lol. Pettis should fight a Gray Maynard, and its not like Maynard is an uber good wrestler. Maynard is good, but he is not the fighter who will lay there for the rest of the fight.

Pettis deserves a title shot, forget Gray Maynard. I like Maynard, but there is no point for that fight to happen. Pettis will get the title shot in the summer and everyone will be happy.

This card was boring, not a good follow up to lastweeks for sure.

Mainevent was what is was expected to be "fast" and nothing else, Mighty Mouse can't break a grape with those tiny little pillowhands and I can't stand watching midgets headline cards. They are not an attraction. not ever going to be for that matter.

Good to see I’m not the only one that feels that way except I’m usually a bit nicer :mike:
