I disagree. Not sure how much you follow MMA but the title fight between Volkanovski and Holloway was Volkanovski at his absolute best. Volkanovski is easily top 3 best pound for pound on the planet. People don't just destroy and shut out Max Holloway like that and Volk made it look like beating Holloway was a cake walk. The last 3 title fights that Volk has had have been amazing to watch. He is easily the second best Featherweight of all time currently and it's not particularly close. It's Aldo and Volkanovski followed by at a very distant third by Holloway.

In regards to the Israel fight if he keeps fighting like he does it's going to be harder to market him. I understand why he did what he did in the Cannonier fight so I don't fault him for that but his fights generally are meh. The biggest problem with watching an Izzy fight is he is a counter striker and counter strikers when they get what they want are beautiful to watch (i.e. McGregor and Silva) but when their don't get what they want their fights are usually boring. I like watching Israel fight but I understand why casual fans think he is boring.

I watch every UFC show and call every "dominant, one-sided technical" fight boring and get called out for it every time and will continue to do so anyway
