Undefeated for 6 years? 2 of them he spent on the sidelines. Barao is gonna wreck him.

But this is a good lookin card.

Gonna be pleased to finally see Barao confimed as champ after unfairly having to drag that shitty interim title around while Cruz hid behind his Fox desk claiming sick pay.

Cruz injured with a groin tear and vacates the title with Faber now is now in his place. Remains as the main event.

Looking forward to it a lot more now with Faber. Big fan of him.

Mir vs. Overeem could be alright. Other than that I don't see a lot of the fights on the main card being anything special.

So sits on the sidelines for two years... remains champ... but now this injury and he decides to vacate the belt? Ah well.

Faber vs. Barao should be good. But last time they fought Barao pretty much dominated. Should be a better fight this go around though.

But that does leave the question... when is Cruz gonna fight again?

Major bummer for Cruz. Dude must be the saddest handsome man on the planet. Stripping him probably the right call though, since he's superhumanly prone to the ouchies. Faber makes sense for the replacement, but will the Duane the Alpha Brain be enough to make this fight any different. I say no! Cause Barao is half-Peruvian tiger. Look it up. But don't look too close.

Also, since bantamweight title isn't a unification bout any more, should the featherweight title fight be main event? Cause heavier guys always get that slot? I think?

Also, if there's on thing I like, its Frank Mir.

When did Cruz become Samuel L. Jackson from unbreakable? Always thought that fight happens only after they finally touch gloves. Couldn't even do that.

Put Cruz in a suit and hope he doesn't sound Blue.

Frank Murr? Meh.

Well I missed the first 2 fights cause I was at work but I was able to catch the last 3. Heard the knockout in the first fight was pretty sweet.

But mannnnn WHERE WAS MIR AT! I mean the guy did virtually nothing in the entire fight. Never seen him fight so poorly before. Just... horribly.

Aldo vs. Lamas... pretty good but yeah... Aldo just wasn't gonna be stopped.

Barao vs. Faber... shouldn't of been stopped. Those punches were being stopped and he gave the thumbs up. I'd say just give him the rematch. That was kinda bad stoppage.

Only saw the main card. First fight was insane, amazing comeback cause Varner was lighting him up. Flyweight wasn't thrilling, not sure if Ali can do much to DJ but he's probably got himself a title shot in the shallow division. Reem actually brought some cardio tonight, didn't matter since Mir kinda disappeared after that hard knee in the first. Got stoked on the choke attempt in the second, but otherwise a bummer to see my homeboy go out (likely) looking like junk. Reem calling out Lesnar in the post match was funny.

Aldo's leg kicks and counters in first few rounds were sexy. Watched the show with some uneducated folks, thought the fight was going evenly, giving Lamas some of those early rounds. Aldo may have not been dropping him, but totally outclassed him until he skipped the fifth, as is tradition. Watching the post fight presser, seems like Dana, Pettis and Aldo all stoked on that match. Maybe Aldo moves up and Barao jumps up a division too. I'm sure Faber would be happy. Sucks to be in that sort of Fitch / Franklin division, dude is just dominant outside of the title scene and actually exciting too. Dana saying now he thinks it was early, not counting out another title shot. I don't see Faber making 125, and not making a run at 145 while Mendes is at the top too (wouldn't mind seeing him and Edgar go, though). Regardless of whether fight was stopped early, I still don't seeing him taking out Barao, so unless Barao goes up soon, Faber's probably screwed, and killing off contenders in the mean time.

That fucking first fight! The KO punch was insanely hard and perfectly placed.

Bullshit stoppage towards the end, especially seeing as it was the first round of your main event fight, don't want to leave people with a bad taste in their mouth at the end of the PPV.
