Huge card so far. Weidman - Silva II alone now that Weidman isn't just that guy that knocked out somebody on a Fuel card will get huge buys. Rousey on top of that is just gravy. Hopefully theres some other great fights to go along with it. Pettis v Grant for that ultra stacked Title fight card and I would die a happy man!

yeah I'm kinda not too interested in Rousey vs. Tate. I mean I'm interested but just not... overly hyped for it right now.

But Silva/Weidman II... very much so.

I'm hoping to see Mousasi fight on this card. It's been ages since we've seen him fight. I think the only fighter out there for him is Phil Davis, who really bores me. Also would love to see Big Nog vs Miocic, two fringe top ten fighters would be entertaining.

I'd rather see Werdum fighting again over Big Nog. He just hasn't been doing much lately whereas Werdum has been on a tear.

Werdum vs Barnett would be sick, even though I think they might save that for that Fox show. UFC has a lot of cards to build up. They could put whoever on the main card and people will buy this PPV.

They got a Fox card in Sacramento that needs some big matchups. Mayday McDonald vs Faber will obviously happen, but maybe Barnett vs Werdum would be a great co main event.

Isn't Werdum waiting for his Title shot. Barnett is a ridiculously risky fight to take when you're the clear cut number one contender after JDS v Cain is done (for now). Barnett is basically Werdum, just stronger mentally with superior wrestling as well.

He may be, but who knows what Dana is thinking? Maybe Barnett will face Browne if anything. I like Werdum a lot, but he's had somewhat of an easy slope in earning a title shot. He beat Nelson, Russow, and Big Nog which were all dominant victories. Still Nog is really past his prime and Nelson isn't a world class fighter either.

Re: UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva II

At least he is finishing his fights and they are pretty exciting. That's enough for me. His stand up has gotten a lot better than when it was before and his ground game is still top of the game. Not sure how he'd fair against the likes of JDS or Cain though.

Travis Browne vs. Josh Barnett added to this event.

I have to go with Barnett in this one, just don't like the match up for Browne at all.

Another good test for Browne though after beating Overeem

What did you expect? Browne is obviously in the upper echelon of heavyweights right now. As much as I wanted to see Werdum-Barnett, it's obvious that Werdum is going to get the next title show.

I'm not expecting a great fight, but anytime Barnett fights it has a big fight feel to it.

Re: UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva II

I just want Werdum fighting again. That's pretty much it. Its been too long. And Browne... I mean nothing against him but... I dunno. Just something about it that is eh.

Barnett via whatever the hell he feels like. Brownes lucky he survived the UberBlitz and killed gassed Reem. Barnett will just throw him around and tap him with ease.
