The UFC will enter Winnipeg for the first time on June 15 with UFC 161: Barao Vs. Wineland. The event takes place inside the MTS Centre.
In the main event, Renan Barao will put his interim UFC bantamweight title on the line against Eddie Wineland. Also, Dan Henderson will collide with Rashad Evans, and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will face Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.

"We're proud to add Winnipeg to our list of Canadian UFC cities," UFC Director of Operations for Canada, Australia and New Zealand Tom Wright stated. "The city has an impressive resume in terms of teams including the Jets, Bombers and Moose as well as major events such as the Grey Cup and Pan Am Games. We can't wait for Winnipeg to experience the UFC."

Below is the current card, which airs on pay-per-view, FX and Facebook:

MAIN CARD (PPV)

Interim UFC Bantamweight Championship
Renan Barao (ic) vs. Eddie Wineland

Light Heavyweight: Dan Henderson vs. Rashad Evans

Light Heavyweight: Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

Welterweight: Jake Shields vs. Tyron Woodley

Heavyweight: Pat Barry vs. Shawn Jordan

PRELIMINARY CARD (FX)

Heavyweight: Stipe Miocic vs. Soa Palelei

Light Heavyweight: Ryan Jimmo vs. Igor Pokrajac

Lightweight: Sam Stout vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg

Bantamweight: Dustin Pague vs. Yves Jabouin

Welterweight: Sean Pierson vs. TJ Waldburger

Lightweight: John Maguire vs. Mitch Clarke

Bantamweight: Roland Delorme vs. Edwin Figueroa

This is actually shaping up to be one solid card, it's too bad I'm saving my money to move out to Kelowna or I'd definitely be down for attending this!

This is a pretty strong card. I still can't believe Dan Henderson is ticking in the sport lol. I like seeing Shogun do his thing, so I'm hoping he gets a big win.
