UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche

I'm really hoping she does, but Carmouche is actually pretty good so it wouldn't surprise me to see this fight go all the way.

He must of been going insane when Carmouche had Rousey in trouble early in the first. : I guess the next fight to make is Rousey vs. Meisha Tate II since the Cyborg fight isn't going to be happening anytime soon.

I actually really liked Faber's fight as well, but this Rousey fight was still easily the highlight of the show.

I had to work til 11 so I missed everything cept for Hendo and Rousey.

I was rather disappointed in the Hendo fight but that is a Machida fight for ya.

You can hate on women's MMA all you want, but it's exciting and it went over huge tonight. If you don't like women getting battered like Deezy said, that's fine but nobody can dispute that this deserved a main event slot. Ronda is an animal, she's going to be up there with GSP and Silva as the UFC's biggest star.

A bad card on paper UFC 157 was a lot better than a stacked card on paper UFC 156.

Also hope there isn't any major dispute about Hendo-Machida. Hendo looked old and slow tonight, it was a dull fight but Machida is a genius and I would like to see Jones-Machida II in an ultimate technical battle.

Yeah Machida clearly won that fight, Hendo was just swinging at air all night and apart from that takedown in the third did nothing. Machida landed alot more, split decision is stupid.

Good show, I think Rousey/Carmouche just shades FOTN over Bermudez/Grice because of the frantic pace and mark out moment where Carmouche nearly got the choke (similar to Belfort's armbar on Jones)

Hendo/Machida was boring as expected and neither should get a shot. Give it to the Gustaffson/Mouassi winner instead or to Teixeira if he beats Bader. Machida is not good to watch at all and Hendo gave a non-effort.

Faber looked good as he always does against contenders. He's the new K-Flo. Just hope he gets Michael McDonald instead of yet another title shot.

The only thing Hendo did well was land those land kicks. Other than that Air punches.

The main event was a pretty decent fight. I kinda enjoyed it. I just wished I saw more of the card than those two fights.
