Finally we get to see Edgar vs. Maynard again. I was one of those that thought Maynard won that previous fight clearly but unfortunately it was a draw. I can't wait for this fight because it showed be an awesome fight and I am picking Maynard for the win.

Aldo vs. Florian should be another good fight. I don't know if Florian will be able to defeat Aldo though. Florian is cutting a lot of weight to fight at featherweight and I think that Aldo will be too good for him in the end.

I can't believe that Sonnen is back fighting in the UFC. I hope that Stann KOs him. I rate Stann highly and I think that he can do it.

Overall it is a really strong card.

This card is very stacked.

I can't wait for the Edgar/Maynard fight because the 2nd fight they had was being talked down upon and stunned many on how exciting it was. This is going to be a fun fight, and hopefully there are no injuries/draw situations so the LW division can finally advance and the champion can get a new challenger.

Jose Aldo vs. Kenny Florian is interesting. Florian is known to choke in big fights but we'll see how he does in this one. Jose Aldo's cardio was the talk of the town after his fight at UFC 129 but I think he was just sick, he went 5 rounds with Faber fine before his Hominick fight. If Florian loses who knows where he will go now.

Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann is a fight I'm pumped for. Chael isn't picking on Stann this time around but praising him for taking the fight. I will be rooting for Brian Stann but I see him getting taken down and pounded on. Chael could compete with him on the feet too as he was a former boxer and has underrated striking. Stann has serious power in those fists though and put away Chris Leben which is a very big deal. Stann did submit someone with a Triangle Choke though ;)

PPV is tomorrow and I will be watching it again. Really looking forward to this as the card is really strong. Edgar vs. Maynard was an awesome fight last time and I felt that Maynard was hard done by. Hopefully this can live up to the standard of the last fight. I still can't believe that Florian is dropping so far down to this weight division. I don't know if he will have enough strength after cutting so much so I am going with Aldo. Stann vs. Sonnen is another fight I am really looking forward to. Should be an excellent battle and I really hope Stann can win in another battle of good vs. evil. I am stuck at picking a winner between Guillard and Lauzon. Both have good recent records and with Lauzon being there it should be a great fight.

Here are my picks

Frankie Edgar (c) vs. Gray Maynard
José Aldo (c) vs. Kenny Florian
Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann
Melvin Guillard vs. Joe Lauzon
Leonard Garcia vs. Nam Pham

Demian Maia vs. Jorge Santiago
Anthony Pettis vs. Jeremy Stephens

Good PPV overall even if some of my picks didn't get up.

Mainevent played out almost the same as the previous fight. Maynard demolished him in the first round, he threw some massive uppercuts that rocked Edgar but Edgar has a massive chin and stayed with it. Then the next two rounds were really odd as Maynard did absolutely nothing allowing Edgar to get his composure back whilst picking up two rounds on the scorecards. Then Edgar connected with some great punches in the fourth round, he hit about five in a row to get the stoppage. Hopefully we see one more fight, not right away but a year or two from now, to settle it once and for all because it currently stands 1-1-1.

Aldo easily beat Florian who looked horrible. He is so skinny at that weight and he really should be a couple of divisions higher. I had it as 49-46 for Aldo as well who surprisingly to Florian didn't gas.

Sonnen is a beast. Stann could do nothing to stop Sonnen from taking him down and once on the ground Stann had no chance. He tried to fight out of the submission in round two but smartly tapped before passing out. The fireworks were after the fight though when Rogan interviewed Sonnen. Sonnen said that Anderson Silva sucked and that he wants a rematch but this time if Silva loses Silva has to leave the division and if Sonnen loses he will leave the UFC. Sonnen must have been a pro wrestler in a previous life as that was right out of Pro Wrestling Booking 101

Garcia vs. Nam Pham was an awesome fight. Nam Pham took the first two rounds but Garcia come out strong in the final round but it wasn't enough.

Lauzon was impressive against Guillard submitting him within the first minute of the fight.

I believe I got every tip right on the card :p

I went to the pub and was cheering Lauzon hardcore and everyone just went WTF.

It was a great event, really enjoyed it and will be getting into UFC even more. Sonnen's fucking promo was brutal!
