Tyson Kidd injured in dark match

Too bad, I've always liked Kidd and it's been good seeing him get a little attention... plus Kidd and Cesaro is easily the best WWE tag team at the moment.

While I will agree with other posters that Cesaro shines more on his own, WWE hasn't really been up for giving him the chances to do that consistently. He gets on a roll and then becomes obscure, losing a lot for a while... If WWE gives him a consistent push, then I'd love to see him on his own. It's one of the reasons I liked Cesaro and Kidd as a team. They were two guys who were being pushed to the side as singles competitors who were given the stage as a tag team. We'll see what happens.

Some sort of an update:

- Regarding the injury Tyson Kidd suffered at Monday's RAW in the dark match with Samoa Joe, WWE apparently still has him undergoing medical tests, which is likely why no official announcement has been made. According to PWInsider, there's a belief within WWE that the injury was just a freak occurrence and not something that could have been prevented.

WWE Statement On Tyson Kidd's Injury Suffered In Samoa Joe Match

As noted earlier, Tyson Kidd appeared to have suffered a spinal injury in his RAW dark match loss to Samoa Joe last Monday night. WWE today officially acknowledged the injury on their website, writing:

Tyson Kidd sustained an injury while competing in a non-televised match against Samoa Joe last Monday night, June 1, in San Antonio. As the former WWE Tag Team Champion continues to be evaluated, check back with WWE.com for the latest information on Kidd's condition.

So, the injury's just been confirmed, which sucks to hear...
