The gimmick works because it is a character. Well fleshed out. Unlike the standard Cocky heel #554 with no reason for being cocky. The Breeze character makes sense being a showoff and cocky from the word go because of the character background. That's why it will work.

I was excited for him to debut a few weeks ago, and his debut certainly didn't disappoint. The gimmick is gold. I love it, that's it.

Apparently, his former partner CJ Parker returns under a hippie gimmick and I think they feud or something. Looks interesting.

Meh, the gimmick is pretty good. But I don't really like it honestly. He's very talented, but for some reason I hate the gimmick.

I will say that I enjoy the camera phone being real time and routed to the big screen during his entrance/after wins. Other than that I can't stand him. But I suppose that means as a heel he is doing his job well.
