Pfft, I said years ago Tyler Black sucks and everyone was like "No way, Tyler kicks ass, Next champion!" then he got exposed once he got to the ME scene and now everyone hates him. Two years from now Davey Richards will win the World Title and everyone will crap on him and i'll just laugh...

Anyway, a lot of guys could be champion ahead of Black. The NY show is pretty much now or never for Roddy, and I don't think he'll win there, even though I would like it a lot. But heck, I think Generico could be ROH Champion, but that's even less likely. D:

I won't complain about a Davey Richards run unless Hero has not yet gotten the title. Long, long, overdue.

I think Tyler is fine as champ, but i just don't like the idea of him getting a really long reign. ideally he should have won the belt last year instead of Jerry Lynn. That screwed everything up from the start. As far as Aries, Daniels, Strong, Hero, and Richards as better choices, that may be true. You could argue Daniels hasn't even wrestled one match back in ROH yet. Strong isn't any better on the mic, to carry the company. Aries has already won the belt twice. Which leaves Hero and Richards. Both tied up in the tag scene, which Richards is breaking away. So it makes sense to me.

I'm not a huge fan, but he can put on a very good match.

I've liked Black's reign as I buy him as a good face champ whereas before Black was a heel Aries, before that to me a very mediocre Jerry Lynn and of course before that a very great Nigel McGuiness as champ. So I've been enjoying the reign because a good face run with the belt has been due.

I've gotta be honest, i've been starting to turn around on the guy. He's not my favorite wrestler or anything, but I used to think he was WAY into trash land. So I don't know. His run really hasn't been what ROH needed, or even really special. But it hasn't been a train wreck. He's done okay. So yeah, I've been saying Roddy, but this HoT thing is bad news for him imo. Tyler should hold onto the belt for a little while longer.

I think his reign started a little slow, but when he defends the belt it solid. He just doesn't seem to defend it much though. I think they are gearing up for a long title reign. But that's what i liked about Nigel's. It's like he ran through the whole roster once or twice. I don't need a title match EVERY show, but maybe every other would be nice.

On a side note, I kinda want to see Tyler Black vs. Rasche Brown

I'd also like to see Black vs. Omega....and perhaps some talent from japan like Marifuji.
