If a teacher has sex with a student aged 16-18 it's illegal in the UK, I'm not sure what the law is called or whatever- but it is still illegal.
Also I don't know if you're referring to the kids age, but the kid was 16 at the time and in Louisiana the age of consent is 17- so that would be rape.

Yeah I know it's still illegal, but they'd be charged with abuse of a position of trust. That on a criminal record doesn't stand out as much as statutory rape does. Yeah, that's why I said if it was over here :dawg:
