Two Teachers Arrested for Having Threesome with Student

KENNER, Louisiana — Two high school English teachers in Kenner, Louisiana are facing felony charges for an alleged sexual relationship with a student WGNO reports.

Police say that Shelley Dufresne, 32, and Rachel Respess, 24, met with a student from their school after a football game, and the three went back to Respress’ home to engage in sex acts.

Authorities say that the student is a Junior and is now 17-years-old, but was 16 when the alleged relationships began. Former students told police that the three have met for sex multiple times, and have videotaped the encounters.

Dufresne is the student’s current teacher, and Resess was his English teacher last school year.

Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser says, “Nothing surprises me anymore really, but I do believe it’s lack of a better judgment. They should have known better.”
