- As noted before, WWE has offered Brock Lesnar another 1 year contract - believed to be similar to the current deal that expires at WrestleMania 29 in the sense that it's for few dates and several million dollars.

Lesnar has not signed the contract yet but word going around is that there's a good chance he will sign.

The big opponents being discussed for Lesnar in 2013 are CM Punk and Randy Orton. Lesnar vs. Orton had been discussed for 2012 but plans changed.

Punk? Yay. Orton, meh... would've preferred DB.

As of right now Lesnar vs DB wouldn't work. Daniel Bryan's current gimmick wouldn't be able to be taken seriously against Lesnar. Could you honestly see him going up against Lesnar with those yes chants, it's bad enough that he's a small guy. Bryan vs Lesnar doesn't fit right now, maybe if they made him more serious, but i don't see that happening anytime too soon.

Am I the only one who thinks Vince will want Lesnar/Reigns so that Roman can but put over as a ME type guy?

Yeah, I agree. If they were to fight I'd also want to see it with a more serious DB, which I guess could be achieved until the later part of the year.

what is so special about Orton/Lesnar?
I just don't get it.

I'm interested in Punk/Lesnar though, although it means Punk will turn face again.

Surprised no one has bashed this yet since it's from Meltzer. I know how you all hate him so much.

Anywho, if Orton tapped into his psychotic side (seeing that hugging segment between him and Kane/Bryan on Raw made me cringe), he could have a good serious feud with Brock. This idea wouldn't work since they banned the punt kick (bastards) but it would have been a nice spot if Orton punt kicked Brock and Brock kicked out. And then after Brock beats Orton, he punt kicks Orton in a wonderful turning-the-tides sort of moment. They then try to help Orton out before Orton gathers himself and walks out on his own... Or maybe he doesn't.

I mentioned in another thread that Punk/Brock could obviously write itself with the Heyman connection. When/If Punk turns face, he could cross Heyman in some way and dump him, and then Heyman has Brock destroy Punk. This sets up the feud. I don't want to see Punk going over Lesnar, though, although if this is the way the angle plays out, it would make sense.

If Austin does indeed come back for another match next year, I'd rather Austin/Brock than Austin/Punk. The latter would be better for promos but the former would be more personal in the ring.

Are all much more appealing than this shit. Fuck Punk or Orton vs him, too small and too bland respectively.

Would have said "lol Meltzer", but KLockard beat me to it.
Would have said "lol matches I don't care about" but R'Albin beat me to it.
Would have said "lol resigning Lesnar, waste of money", but it would be a broken record at this point...

So... here's a dude failing a backflip. Enjoy.

Resigning Lesnar is far from a waste of money imo. He's a huge draw and his segments equal guaranteed entertainment for us. I can look past the size problems that so many people seem to have a problem with (with Punk), if I can watch a masked midget Mexican become the world heavyweight champion then I'm sure I can watch CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar. It's not like professional wrestling tries hard to be realistic really.

Exactly..

I say his match with Punk would be extremely interesting, and their feud as a whole will be great, I'm really looking forward to this if it's actually true.

My only problem would be with Punk turning face again, which is something that is guaranteed to happen if this feud really takes place.

Meh, WWE has enough money to throw away or even give half of it to me, they can hire Lesnar, no harm in that. It's not a waste of money, but the way they booked him in 2012 it was a waste of Lesnar.
