After a decade of absence, the Twisted Metal franchise makes it's return to home consoles February 2012.

Are there any fans of this franchise here?

These amongst my favorite games on PS1 and I'm personally looking forward to the reboot.

I remember this game and originally liked it but then for some reason got tired of it and thought it was lame. Doubt it'd like it now when I ended up not really liking it as a kid.

Yea one of my favorite games growing up, although a lot of the 3 and 4 sucked and TM Black was really the last solid game in the franchise. David Jaffe from God of War fame is lead designer on the reboot so I really think the franchise is going to get a nice kick in the ass and back to being great. Gonna sucks if it somehow dissapoints because it seems like it been in development forever.

Black pretty much was the last game in the franchise other than that PSP game, which was kinda retro.

I actually didn't mind TMIII. Everyone shits on it, but the maps were relatively solid. The control scheme is what I think pissed people off about it. TM4... not defending that piece of crap. Horrible.

Loved this game, played it all the time when I was younger. Can't wait to play the new game, always enjoyed playing the games of this series.
