“Ring of Honor is announcing that Gabe Sapolsky will be leaving the company effective immediately. Everybody at ROH would like to thank him for his contributions and wish him well in all future endeavors. Going forward Ring of Honor will be focusing on the stories and the talent in the ring. The company will have no further comments on this issue or a replacement for Mr. Sapolsky. We would like to thank all of the fans and media who have supported us over the years and look forward to bringing you more great wrestling excitement in the future.”

October 29 2008

Rumours began to ciculatte about Gabe getting released from the ROH booking team and why. The most popular being that Cary Silkin screwed Gabe out of his contract. Others noted that he had had history with Adam Pearce who wanted to gfet him as far away from the Ring of Honor company as possible.

October 30 2008

Gabe was the only one to know what really happened, though he was not about to divulge that information as he had already had something sitting, waiting and gaining rust on his computer. He decided to open the file and take one last look. He had his chance to execute his plan right now but the question was, is the time right?

November 31 2008

His decision had been made, he was going to go through with his plan, his plan for a new wrestling promotion to rival those the likes of his former employer Ring of Honor, Total Nonstop Action and the biggest of them all, World Wrestling Entertainment.

December 1 2008

Gabe opens his phone to make one all important call, for this was the one to make his dream a reality. He dialled the number and held it too his ear as it rang.

???: Hello, Ted Turner's office, who may I ask is calling.

Gabe Sapolsky: Hello, this is Gabe Sapolsky, I am the former booker for the wrestling company Ring of Honor, I would like to know if it is possible to arrange a meeting with Ted.

Receptionist: That is possible, I will arrange a meeting for you and Ted to meet on the 4th at 11:00AM.

Gabe Sapolsky: Thank you, I will see you then.

Gabe hangs the phone up as he has a smile on his face. His plan is coming to fruition as he is glad, 3 days till his meeting, he better prepare something to present.

December 4 2008

Gabe walks into the small room, obviously the secretarys area. A young lady is sitting at a desk typing away as Gabe carries a briefcase in one hand wearing a business suit. He walks up to the desk and gets the secretary's attention.

Gabe Sapolsky: Gabe Sapolsky here to meet with Mr.Turner.

Secretary: Mr. Sapolsky, Mr.Turner will see you in a moment, please take a seat.

Gabe walks over to where the seating is and waits as the Secretary brings his arrival up with Turner who replies with a quick thank you. Gabe does not have to wait long as the secretary begins to talk to him.

Secretary: You may go in now Mr. Sapolsky.

Gabe gets to his feet and opens the door that reads Ted Turner as he walks into the room and extends his hand to Turner.

Gabe Sapolsky: Pleased to meet you Mr.Turner.

Ted Turner: Call me Ted, Gabe, please take a seat, I hear you have an interesting proposition for me.

Gabe Sapolsky: *sitting down* Yes, I do Ted, lets skip the small talk. I am here to ask you, if you are interested in financially backing a new wrestling promotion. Before you ask, I have thought about what happened to your previous promotion with WCW and I am happy to say, I have taken that into consideration. I am happy, to run this promotion myself, I have experience in all areas needed and am happy to take into consideration anything you would like to add to the product.

Ted Turner: I am not sure about this Gabe, I had bad experience with WCW as you said and I have other things that I need to do first.

Gabe Sapolsky: I had a feeling you would say that and I have planned this all out. I have had it done for months. Here look over some of my notes.

Gabe opens up the briefcase to reveal a heap of papers inside as he hands one of the most important to Ted Turner.

Ted Turner: I am still not sure about this Gabe, how do I know this company will succeed.

Gabe Sapolsky: You have my gurantee. Wasn't it the reason you founded WCW to defeat the WWE and take them down. Well I have the same vision in mind and with you by my side, we can do this, we can take McMahon and the WWE down and do to them what they did to WCW.

Ted Turner: Your Gurantee, I know that means alot but taking down the WWE, I could not do it, what makes you think you can.

Gabe Sapolsky: I know how to beat them at there own game, younger, faster wrestlers in the main event and nothing to bore the crowd to tears, trust me on this Ted, we can do this, but I can't without your help.

Gabe extends his hand to Turner who thinks for a moment before taking his hand and shaking it.

Gabe Sapolsky: Thanks you Ted, I really appeciate you doing this with me.

Ted Turner: Well Gabe just remember, I expect a status report on what is going on with the company.

Gabe gets to his feet and takes his briefcase and as he leaves Ted is reading over the costs and the report Gabe handed him with a smile on his face.

December 6 2008

Gabe is sitting in his loungeroom with his laptop sitting on his lap, he waits for a few visitors who were to help him set up this company overall. He hears a knock at the door as he walks over and opens it to see Tommy Laughlin standing there.

Gabe Sapolsky: Thanks for coming Tommy.

Tommy Laughlin: We needed to catch up Gabe, it's been a hell of a long time.

Gabe Sapolsky: Yeah it has been Tommy, but the real reason I called you here was to discuss a little something.

Tommy Laughlin: Well, lets get straight into it.

Gabe Sapolsky: Well we are still waiting one more person to show up.

Tommy Laughlin: Well who is it?

Gabe Sapolsky: Well...

The bell rings as Gabe stops his sentence to walk over to the door. He opens the door to reveal Bruce Prichard standing there.

Gabe Sapolsky: Ahh Bruce, great to finally meet you.

Bruce Prichard: As it is to you. I have been a fan of your work.

Gabe Sapolsky: Come on in Bruce and make yourself at home, there is a little matter of business we need to discuss.

Both Bruce and Gabe walk into the lounge room where Tommy Laughlin is sitting waiting for Gabe to return, Gabe and Bruce sit down as Laughlin and Prichard shake hands with respect.

Gabe Sapolsky: Well Gentleman, I had a meeting with Ted Turner the other day and he agreed to finance a little business venture of mine and that is why I bought you both here. I want you both tot help me build the company from the ground up. I trust you both to help me and ultimately bring down World Wrestling Entertainment. Now that might seem impossible to some but we all have talent and know what it takes to be big in the Wrestling Industry and regain viewers of the product.

Bruce Prichard: How are we meant to do that.

Gabe Sapolsky: Well, all of us in this room have connections in a certain area. Bruce, you have skills as a road agent and a part time booker and have connections with quite a few WWE superstars where as Tommy could possibly bring in a few superstars from the old ECW and you could handle the extreme aspect after what the WWE did to ECW. We all know the right people to get this company off the ground and rising above the competitors, are you guys in?

Bruce Richards: I am with you Gabe, I have no other commitments and can start working on gaining a few of the current and released superstars.

Gabe Sapolsky: Thanks Bruce, how about you Tommy?

Tommy Laughlin: Well, I am not completely sure, I am still under contract with the WWE and not sure if I can get out of it till the next 3 months expire. I will see what I can do when I can and I will get back to you.

Gabe Sapolsky: Great Tommy. We will still need the next 3 months to build the roster and see what Ted can do for us.

Laughlin and Prichard both get up and say goodbye as the three men shake hands and Prichard and Laughlin leave the house as Gabe stands there with a smile on his face.

December 13 2008

Rumours are beginning to circulate of various WWE superstars asking for releases for there contracts including Sheton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Tommy Dreamer and The Colons. We will have more updates as they develop.

December 15 2008

“WWE has come to the the release of the following superstars, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Primo Colon, Tommy Dreamer, CM Punk, Matt Hardy, The Brian Kendrick and Evan Bourne. We wish these men all the best in there future endevours.”

December 19 2008

Gabe Sapolsky has recently posted a link on his website to a new webpage which alot of his fans thought was a mysterious link but it turned out to be a wrestling promotions website.

“WWE has come to the releases of the following superstars:Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Primo Colon, Tommy Dreamer, CM Punk, Matt Hardy, The Brian Kendrick, Evan Bourne, William Regal, Kung Fu Naki and Jimmy Wang Yang. I didn't read the whole backstory. I got to the Turner Conversation and it seemed rather generic, so I just skimmed to the roster. Interesting bunch of guys you've got.

I'd say good luck, but I've said that so many times. I don't see the difference between this and your past BTBs, so I'm not sure how long it'll last. I'll be sure to come review your first show though, see if you can make it to a PPV.

I like the roster for this one, and I hope you can succeed. To be honest, I don;t think you will from past times with you saying this will be it. What I think you need is a simple WWE or TNA BTB that can get you recognition, imo. I read the backstory, and it was good, and mostly believable, excluding the roster to an extent. I don't like the name though.

This looks good, you're a good writer and I look forward to this.

Check out WWE 2009 if you want.

Alright this is Gards judging by the above comments. I'm going to make my feedback short, and sweet. The roster is good, an interesting. The backstory, is to long, and I'm kind of tired so I skimmed through it. The names are cool, and some what remind me of SWA. The font probably. I know I've said this more thank likely to all your BTB attempts, but here it is another time. Good luck, do what you must to keep it going. Do recaps, whatever. Can't wait for your moment Gards. Hopefully, this is it.

One thing I dont like about backstories is when they do the cliche of WWE firing wrestlers, and in it they fire without any apparent reason big names like CM Punk and Matt Hardy or Regal. Seeing how you had Turner on it, you could have easily said he outpaid the WWE and got them out of their contracts.

Also, why would Gabe want to run WWE down to thr ground? If anything, he would want to bring ROH to the ground.

How did AJ Styles and the rest of TNA wrestlers ended in your company?

The roster looks good nonetheless. I hope you stick with this.

Check out BTW, Nitro has been posted

The backstory is a copy off BKB's HOW imo. I've repeated myself in all your threads. Let's see what you do with this.

Alright backstory there Gards, the roster you have come up with is great, It's a good mixture of guys and I can't wait to see what you can do with them. I know you are focused with this BTB so hopefully you can pull out a couple of good shows and try to go on from there. I look forward to your first show.

You need to use a better roster for what you know.

A WWE BTB is the best thing for you Gards, imo. Let's see how you go though.

The first edition of TWA Havoc is sure to be big as it is bought to you from the American Airlines arena and it is being hyped as the biggest debut by a company since the WWF started airing on the USA network. The main event will feature of the most athletic and two of the better competitors in TWA with AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam colliding head to head in a one on one match.

We will find out what plans, General Manager Jake Hibberson has in store for us as he makes a huge announcement and we may even find out who he is and how he landed the job as GM. Expect big things from this announcements.

Also on the show will be Charlie Haas taking on the high flying Evan Bourne as they collide head to head. Haas might look to keep him on the mat if he wants a chance of winning.

Shelton Benjamin and Motor City Machine Gun Alex Shelley will be going head to head for the first time combining two of the most athletic superstars in the TWA. Sure to be a great match.

-----------------------------------------------

Confirmed Matches:

Rob Van Dam vs AJ Styles

Alex Shelley vs Shelton Benjamin

Evan Bourne vs Charlie Haas

------------------------------------------------

NOTE: Ok, my first preview, I know I am going a bit quick but I want the first show out of the road.

Looks good, you have a good card here with lots of high flying wrestling in the show. Ill give a read, hopefuly you give some of my work a read one time. And if you think its crap then don't post it seriously I would work on it even if it would be a day or so late it's worth waiting to read something then reading something early that isn't as good.

The only thing I didn't like in the backstory is the firing of superstars just like what CMS did but I know it will help you to build up a good roster so I am okay with it. I just hope Brian Kendrick could win all the titles! *shifty I am looking forward to this and let's see if they could really beat WWE! lol...

Here are my predictions:

Rob Van Dam vs AJ Styles

Alex Shelley vs Shelton Benjamin

Evan Bourne vs Charlie Haas

Preview is pretty bad. A preview should make you wanna read the show. Instead, it's like, k, nice to see you have some matches. Nothing seems special, and all we know is that you'll have a few matches.

Just general advice.

It's no problem getting the first show off the blocks CT, without pulling out your A-material - just make sure you start warming the feuds for your first PPV!

Good luck. No matter how harsh people may be, take their advice. Doing that keeps me motivated, seeing if my shows improve week to week. If the show is 'crap' though, you shouldn't post that. That'll just deter people from your show.

EDIT-Change your name plz. It is rather strange. Plus calling you CT will get me confused with the other CT >_>

Rob Van Dam vs AJ Styles

Should be a good match if you take your time with it, both have great styles and they should mix well. I am looking forward to seeing what you can do with these two. Also, I can see these guys main eventing a PPV!

Alex Shelley vs Shelton Benjamin

Not to sure here, I think Shelley should get the win so thats what I based my pediction on. Should be another decent match here, lets see what you can do with the two.

Evan Bourne vs Charlie Haas

I am 99% sure that Evan Bourne will pick up the victory. Most people push him so I don't see anything different here. I hope that Charlie Haas isn't how he is in real life in your BTB cause he was much better years ago and if he is the old Charlie Haas then this shall be a good match.

The matches look pretty good but as someone said, a preview isn't just about telling them "This guy faces that guy" you should or could go into more detail, talk about recent things that happened with the company or what else may go down on the show, that could get people interested which leads to more reviews, although their haven't been many reviews lately! Good luck Gards and I will see how you do.
