WWE has an "article" up on their website counting down some of the "turkeys" in the ring. Some of these are funny.

#7. Gobbledy Gooker - The incubation was, indeed, all over at Survivor Series 1990 when the WWE Universe was first introduced to the Gobbledy Gooker. That night, in front of a capacity crowd in Hartford, Conn. a turkey to put all others to shame was "hatched" and proceeded to dance around for what seemed like an eternity with announcer "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Fans and critics alike unanimously booed the Gobbledy Gooker, prompting the gimmick to be swept under the Thanksgiving dinner table - that is, until WrestleMania X7 when the turkey appeared in a gimmick battle royal, only to be the second participant eliminated.

#6. Ultimate Warrior - Ultimate Warrior has countless memorable moments for his domination in the ring, including his improbable WWE Championship victory over Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI. Plowing through challengers was a speciality of the Warrior. Speaking, however, was not his strong suit. Ultimate Warrior spent promo after promo talking about spaceships, aliens and other topics so out of this world, it's a wonder that WWE didn't send him on his craft back to "Parts Unknown".

#5. Spirit Squad - Triple H and Shawn Michaels are notorious for making other Superstars look like turkeys as D-Generation X, with their favorite victims being Mr. McMahon and his son, Shane. One night on Raw, the WWE Chairman had had enough. Along with Shane and the Spirit Squad, a furious Mr. McMahon announced he was going to put an end to DX's "crap", not knowing that Triple H and HBK had other plans. Before the group could even descend the ramp to attack the two, they were covered in DX's "crap" - literally. The Spirit Squad and the McMahon's recieved a shower of manure they surely were not down with.

#4. Vickie Guerrero - Edge was known as the Rated-R Superstar for his sex appeal, spicy side and the gorgeous Diva's who would accompany him on a daily basis. He shocked the WWE Universe when he settled down with SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero. But, Vickie was the one left in a state of shock when she witness a video of her fiancee making out with their wedding planner...on their wedding day. Vickie made sure to keep the tradition of crying at that ceremony.

#3. The Warlord - The Warlord will forever be remember as one of the most intimidating Superstars to ever enter the squared circle. Of course, he is also notorious for holding one of the least intimidating records. In the 1989 Royal Rumble match, The Warlord spent more time walking around the ring than he did in it as Hulk Hogan eliminated him in a mere two seconds. Even Gobbledy Gooker had more of a showing than this turkey.

#2. Andy Kaufman - The comedian-turned-wrestler got a kick out of destroying his competition. Kaufman racked up a series of victories against women and declared himself "intergender champion of the world". Jerry "The King" Lawler didn't see much humor in Kaufman's antics, however, as the WWE Hall of Famer put the comedian in his place - and in the hospital - with a pair of piledrivers.

#1. "Stand Back" - In a moment that has been passed on through generations of WWE fans at the Thanksgiving table, there was not a single Superstar who could escape the moniker "turkey" in 1987 when some of wrestling's top names, including Mr. McMahon himself, gave the performance of a lifetime...or at least one that no one will ever forget. At the second edition of the Slammy Awards, a number of WWE legends joined the Chairman onstage for their rendition of "Stand Back". Smothered in '80s glam, the performance was more embarrassing than falling asleep in front of the TV after too much gobble gobble.

Those promos were pure, unadulterated gold. They may have been gibberish and indecipherable, but damn it, they were gold. We don't get promos like Warrior's anymore... So much intensity, nonsense, and charisma, such a shame...

You forgot Damien Demento. I just love watching the guy have a hissy fit whenever somebody talks shit on him. He oughta be lucky people even mention him.
