Thinking about Tito and Rampage being on their last legs while Vitor even at this advanced stage in his career seems to be fighting like he did in his 20s... seeing Hendo still going strong at 40... Couture was fighting and he was nearing 50.

I'm almost curious... should TRT be allowed in MMA? Like if an MMA fighter needs to have TRT... should they be allowed to continue fighting or should they be forced to retire? Because in the case of Vitor... before he started doing TRT he was smaller, he still had hands but he was much smaller, less ripped, and was pretty much coming to an end with his career but now he looks like a whole new beast in the latter part of his career. While there are guys that don't get the benefits of TRT.

Because to me... if you have to have TRT to have normal testosterone levels... then it should be obvious that your time is up and to be fair it should be time to hang it up. Although it is nice to see some of the fighters still going at it. I enjoy Vitor fights, I liked when Couture would fight. Its cool seeing these guys fight but it just doesn't seem right.

Thoughts?

50/50.

I'm not a fan of some guys on roids, some guys aren't. Either everyone's on the juice on no one is to make it even. In most cases if somebody actually needs TRT its due them roiding in the past and wrecking their body or cutting stupid amounts of weight and wrecking their body, in either case its their fault and they should accept the consequences. There is that element as well of if your body is shutting down testosterone levels, maybe that's a sign its time to hang it up.

I have a hard time believing that so many MMArtists genuinely need TRT when in the Olympics they've only ever handed out one TUE and that was for a guy with one testicle. So either MMA attracts grown men with little girl levels of testosterone or they're just abusing the system which seems most likely.

On the flip side of that though I am enjoying the fuck out of seeing TRT Vitor wreck people.

I have nothing against anyone trying to prolong a career in sports, it's such an unforgiving line of work that I won't fault anyone for doing anything they can to get more out of their sports career, because for most of them that's all they will ever get.

Is it cheating? Fuck no, it is such a naive argument to act like you take something it magically makes you better than everybody. It doesn't give you the drive to work harder, it doesn't enhance your skillset, it doesn't make you smarter than anyone else....wheres the cheating? What is different between this or vitamin shots? hyperbaric chambers? Nothing, TRT is a legal medical procedure.

What are leagues supposed to do to make things all fair? Should they make everyone take the same vitamins, food, and equal amounts of training, have someone constantly following every athlete at all times so they don't have the opportunity to anything different that might give an advantage?

Personally, I liked Pride better. Shoot em up with everything for all I care.
