SummerSlam Trish Stratus vs Charlotte Flair.. will it happen?

Sooo.. the rumors abound that Trish Stratus is returning to WWE for Summerslam to take on Charlotte Flair after her temper tantrum last night in which she said she was not happy that she was not on the Summerslam card and that she will find an opponent who is better than Ember Moon or Bayley.... then she called herself the "Queen of all eras of women's wrestling" thus pretty much hinting she'd be facing a legend.

So, what do you guys think of this?

Trish Stratus has been good the last couple times she's come back to perform.

I look forward to seeing how a match between her and Charlotte will go down... seeing how they build it, and whether or not Trish can still hang.

WWE really riding that nostalgia train, aren't they? Anyways, it will be a okay match and this will just begin Charlotte's reign of surpermacy because Vince will see as Charlotte is his new Trish in a way, but Eh what do I know.

Vince has and always will value Charlotte more then Trish. He has loved Charlotte from the very get go. Charlotte beating Trish would just be a spec on her resume. Charlotte reign of supremacy started ages ago and is not going to stop anytime soon. That is how you build stars. Fcuk 50/50 booking

Anyway...

Charlotte vs. Trish will be pretty sweet...even if it
totally overshadows Becky/Nattie & Bayley/Ember...
in fact I won't be surprised if Bayley/Ember ends
up on the pre-show.

Logic dictates that Charlotte goes over clean...
BUT...Charlotte wouldn't really be hurt by a loss
to Trish...so either way is fine.

Personally I thought the WWE would book Becky
vs. Trish...but it appears that even without a belt...
Charlotte is still the "Alpha Female" so to speak.

Even though I am curious about this match...I
can't see myself caring about SummerSlam...
mainly because the WWE main roster makes
me eyes bleed with frustration so I'll stick with
AEW from now on.

Could just be botox injections. A lot of women get them in their face when they get older to tighten the skin.

This is a great match for Summerslam. I dont think this would work as well at Wrestlemania. Its top female of that ruthless aggression era vs the current era so right now is the perfect time to do it while Trish still can.

Man, i get why they are doing it, but does Charlotte really need this match? i mean honestly i feel like she doesnt, shes already one of the top women in the company besides Becky, i dont feel like she needs it. Plus i feel like Alexa would be more fitting. (Or rather she needs it more then Charlotte)

Honestly if you wanna use a legend to put a woman over, have Lita do a match against Becky Lynch, that seems like a much more fitting match to do imo.

Lita vs Becky would also be cool but thats 2 babyfaces. Charlotte is a great heel and her having a match with Trish is good from a marketing angle. Its hard to have a main event level match without one of the womens titles being involved. Summerslam is one of the biggest events of the year so I would assume Charlotte would be all for having the opportunity.

People change over time. I think with Trish its a case of her being so "lean" these days.
She had more "flesh on her bones" back in the day...and a lot of male fans liked that.

Me...I don't see an issue...

as long as she can still go in the ring.

She did have a more "Natural, athletic girl next door"
look when she started...& some people dig that.

I personally love her the way she is now...& while I
know some of it is...surgically altered...I still think
she looks like a Goddess made Flesh.
