Triple H is one of my favorite wrestlers and champions.

His reign never bothered me even though I do think Booker and RVD were primed for runs in 2003.

Some would say yes since it was the McMahon-Helmsley era run but i always thought the reign of terror started when Bischoff gave him the big gold belt in 2002

I can see why not everyone liked Triple H's reign, but man it made Batista's win over him that much sweeter. The eventual babyface turn and feud was superbly done. They really built Batista up great.

I'd say 2003 was where I had the biggest problem with it. The main event scene of Raw looked good on paper but it was a bit of a slog and kinda got worse and worse the more it went on, even when HHH did actually lose the belt for a couple months to Goldberg. By 2004, it was fine tho, he dropped it to Benoit and fucked around with HBK and Eugene for a bit and then beat Orton when they decided that experiment wasn't ready yet, but that directly lead to Batista
