Fwiw I don't think they even flubbed it. Punk got hurt both times he won the belt n they never do that match w no stakes. He also came back on a separate show after. Just wasn't meant to be. Never lined up.

I will agree with you, but the difference is punk came in when omega was still the champion so I would’ve done it as an omega defense rather than a Punk defense.
