I don’t care who coined it. I am actually enjoying WWE again when I dip my toes back in. I just don’t think it’s a good term but also I don’t think anybody was shitting on it in this particular thread. It was just funny that people thought that they would he was buying companies who took the term from them.

Which is perfect because they are still pay-per-views and they’re the ones that are left over from their original events so tentpole works.

Not talking about the sale rumour because that was dumb from the get go but the most reasonable out there take linking WWE/TNA in some form of partnership or whatever was because of the whole worlds colliding thing especially given it used to be a NXT event, HHH making a special announcement etc.

I do think a partnership between NXT and TNA would be hugely beneficial for both companies.

I think the funniest thing about the sale Rumors is not only are impact going through a huge rebrand right now, so it would’ve made no sense to sell, but they also just launched their brand new TNA plus service which has been rehauled from the ground up. Why would they bother doing that if they were selling and why would WWE even want it considering you would think that the point of purchasing TNA would you put the video library on Peacock?
