I deeply knew once he started having Cardiac issues with his heart, things were going to be more serious than we had thought. But we had no idea about him couging up blood and other issues. Glad that he is alive with us now. He gets to spend more time with his family and that to me is a victory in it's own rights. The man basically done it all in the WWE in the 90's and 2000 WWF/WWE wise. I will forever thank Triple H for the McMahon Helmsley Faction, Comical DX 1998, and Evolution. The man has a great mind for scouting talent. Glad to have seen it all with him growing up. Thank you for the memories Triple H.

I was thinking about it today and Triple H could go down as having some of the best theme songs of all time. There’s My Time, The Game, King of Kings, Evolution, and even DX if you want to count that.
Didn't they release that tape of his themes and had the audacity to not even include My Time?

Not really sure what to make of his career. Was always on the fence about him. It's a good sign that what you're doing is worth if it you've got diehard supporters and haters, for decades.

I vaguely recall that but that is blasphemy not to include My Time. My personal favorite will always be The Game but My Time is up there.

Not to be morbid here, but I always thought Triple H would live forever compared to his Kliq brothers, being the most sensible of the group. It's never guaranteed though, and we're seeing how fragile it all is.

Honestly when you really think of Triple H he should be in the list of top heels of all time. He was always a really great heel (minus the Katie Vick angle). I can't think of a wrestler more hated between 2003 to 2004. On top of that he is apart of one of the best Wrestlemania main events of all time (Wrestlemania XX).

One thing unique about him, or at least it's an interesting trait, is how much you hated him during his four hour cold open on RAW, but genuinely wanted to see his matches on PPV. They were almost always good.

Triple H I don't think will ever get the full respect due because he was around when you had a murders row of great wrestlers such as Angle, Jericho, Rock, Austin, Guerrero, Michaels, Undertaker, Foley, Orton, etc. I will say though that I greatly miss the old NXT. The black and gold brand had some amazing matches and he was able to do what other brands still haven't been able to do right such as make compelling story lines for Nakamura.

I remember people being upset about him beating Booker at Wrestlemania 19 and how he ended Orton's first run (I think). Batista's success is partly what it is because Triple H was such a fantastic heel. If I remember correctly Batista had help of a great heel where as people were just bored of the JBL as the WWE Champion and people wanted Cena to win because he was the most popular star and at the time that Smackdown roster was terrible.

I thought it was more about how they made it about "people like Booker" never winning a world title and then Triple H proved them right that the white man wins

lmao yeah he could’ve chosen his words better. But in all honesty Hunter was having the best run of his career. There was no need for him to drop the title to Booker at that point.

The Cerebral Assassin is putting away his Sledgehammer for good. It saddens me as a fan of his but I want him to enjoy his life with his Wife and Kids.
