As we all know there is an Avengers movie coming out in 2011. However first they have to introduce the characters in their own films. Iron-man and Hulk in 2008. Then next in line is Thor in 2010. Then after that is Captain America in 2011. Lets get back to Thor. A lot of rumors have been going around as to who would play Thor. Actors like Brad Pitt and Viggo Mortensen have been rumored for the role but one man has been the most popular pick than both of these men. The WWE wrestler Triple H has been rumored to be the main pick.
My thoughts-

Pros- He's in good shape, his hair is very similar to Thor's (both the hair on his head and on his face), he's a wrestler so doing his own stunts wouldn't be that big a deal and we all know he can weild a hammer.

Cons- He doesn't really sound like Thor vocally, he doesn't have allot of on screen acting experiance (except for Blade 3), and it would be difficult to keep him for the Avengers movie because he's so busy with his WWE career (Unless he takes time off)

Well I guess we'll never know for sure until we see a trailer. But please comment on this I'm curious to read what you think.

The only thing that would be stopping him imo is him having to take some more time off. Maybe as an excuse he can knock Steph up again and take paternity leave while filming for the movie.

I think Paul was considered for the role - emphasis on was.

This will not be a WWE Films/McMahon influenced, straight-to-DVD movie to be known as an insult to the movie industry more than anything else.

Pitt and Mortensen are Academy Award nominees highly sought after in Hollywood, and Kenneth Branagh (the director) is also an Academy Award nominee in that role.

Paul would have been on a list of 10 or 20 candidates I think.

Exactly, there are many others who can fit in the role 'perfectly' and they would consider all of them before going ahead with Triple H.
