I mean for some people if they've been using real names or family names I could see it meaning more to them then others. Personally I never got the fixation, but I don't watch a lot of indy stuff. However like say Bray Wyatt I could see him perhaps at one point (probably past that point) wanting to use his real name for stuff.I don't care about wrestler names, half the people who come in with their own sound like stupid porn names to begin with.
Shakespeare once wrote "what's in a name?"....guess it means everything to jaded marks who think they know better.
Bad guys only go by last names... Unless they're FBI lol. That was so dumb.If anything, I suspect at least we won't get a first name being dropped from out of nowhere.
That's what I thought too, swear people were speculating that was the reasoning he wasn't get used or pushed once it came out.I actually wonder if it was that whole trying to copyright Keith Lee's birth name fiasco that made them even change all those names this year that were similar they tried the same with Chelsea Green and dropped it real quick too. Vince said never again, pal
I think that if the wrestler expresses a want for the name to go back it will. A lot of them care way less about the names then the fans do. But Angel Garza got his name back so that’s one.

Ciampa said in an interview that he's fine without the first name...It sounds weird as a standalone name but if he's fine with it, fuck it.
"We've also been told that WWE doesn't believe they have anyone currently that could replace Dunn as the likeliest candidate was let go during a prior round of layoffs and a return isn't likely based on how the exit went down."
