So John Cena at WM 22 doesn't count? Dumbass. He has put over the 2 biggest names in this generation of wrestling, what else does he have to do. You left out Chris Benoit, Randy Orton, and Goldberg. No, you don't have to be in a feud to put someone over. In the way Shelton did it, it was his first match ever and he beat the biggest name in the WWE and the WHC, how is that not putting someone over. Are you Blue? Or just completely ignorant and biased, or both. When you are carrying the company and in your prime like he was, why the fuck should be put someone over anyways. He dropped the belt to Batista at the biggest stage then tapped out to John Cena at the biggest stage when he is all still relatively young (36-37 years old). He is only 38 now, so please, shut the fuck up and come back with a better argument before you make outrageous and far fetched claims accusing a man, who has done more for the business then almost anyone, of KILLING the business.

"putting over" i dont think is 100% just giving them the title....thats more of the kayfabe of "going over" which i think is a difference.

for HHH to put someone over the person being put over has to have something himself to make him an even bigger star....

case in point shelton and goldberg....HHH made an attempt to give them a rub...but they never added on to it and didnt catch on...thus it doesnt matter or count.

HHH def put over Cena, Batista, and Benoit as they got over with the crowd and blew up as a result of beating HHH and then made themselves even bigger after wards with other fueds...

Orton i would say is half way

And of course there was all of last year when DX (led by HHH) basically dominated RAW, more often that not overshadowing the champ, John Cena. You don't need the title to hog the spotlight. Vengeance 2006, RVD vs Edge for the WWE title, John Cena vs Sabu for the first time ever, Flair vs Foley in a 2 out of 3 falls match. What was the ME of the show? DX vs the Spirit Squad.

Survivor Series 2006. Team DX completely buries a team led by Randy Orton and Edge (arguably the WWE's two top heels at the time) as they win 5-0. Summerslam 2006, DX vs The Mcmahons goes on after matches like.... Flair vs Foley (I Quit Match) Hogan vs Orton, and Booker vs Batista in what was Batista's first title shot since coming back from injury.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the HIAC always go last? Wasn't Orton's/Taker's non title HIAC match last on the card? Can't remember.

And the funny thing is, when they reformed it wasn't the last segment of the show... which is the only time I think it should have been (or was that the night Edge won the title? Sigh... tired).

I also thought it was BULLSHIT that Orton's team lost Survivor Series when he was being booked with a potential "Sole Survivor" gimmick... that seriously pissed me off.

True, True, but anthony was sayin how he never put anyone over, not hogged the spotlight.

As far as last years DX return, it deserved teh spotlight at the time. People were tired of Cena last year. Flair vs Foley was a minor role bc both were old. Hogan/orton went on early bc hogan shouldnt have even wrestled due to injuries. Booker vs Batista bc it was a dq or batista didnt win the belt.

As far as Kane vs Beniot, and HHH vs HBK.....I'll take HHH vs HBk as my main event any day.

Survivor Series, the heel team consisted of: Edge/Orton and Gregory Helms, Mike Knox, and JOhnny Nitro. The face team, was simply better man for man. It would have been nice to see them put up a fight, but thats how the wwe booked it, not so much HHHs fault. I also think Edge had a minor injury at the time.

Does HHH hog the spotlight, Hell yeah. Is he somewhat justified to hog the spotlight? probably so, with the lack of talent in the wwe now. HHH only has a few good years left, so why not utilize him now while he's got a couple years left. The thing about HHH, that he was kinda like hogan in a way. For example, Carlito can fued with HHH, and get squashed and made like a fool, but you what. Carlito is still getting pushed, and "put over" despite not winning the fued.
