My theory is Tony said if they weren't going to offer them anything good for exclusivity on Max then he gets to put them on other services

Could be a combination of them not offering what he wants for Max or simply Max not being ready as a service for PPVs like I've heard a lot, but either way I think it's not viable and he rightfully said okay that's fine but I can't keep my PPVs hidden on this dead Bleacher Report app

well a new tv deal even if signed would likely start after the current one for one thing.

I remember last year All In was weird to buy too for the US until the last minute so seems par for the course for that specific show. good to see they discounting the double buy

At first it was just not specified whether it was PPV or not in any interviews which lead to the confusion, but that was cleared up and since BR never had the PPVs up until a week out anyway it wasn't "late"
