Trevor Murdoch is headed back to WWE. He did an interview with Kansas City's Pitch.com talking about his return, and doing his final indie show for Metro Pro Wrestling in Kansas City this Friday, before heading back.

I was never the biggest fan of Trevor Murdoch, he was a bit bland and his gimmick was terrible. Interesting decision that out of all the former talents out there they decided to bring him back. If he returns to WWE tv I hope he has a new gimmick.

Are you a Trevor Murdoch fan?

I'm not a Trevor Murdoch fan, although he and Lance Cade were a formidable tag team at one point. We're all aware as to why they'll never be a tag team again...

Anyway, I don't understand why they're bringing Trevor Murdoch back. Not sure what he could offer in any capacity, whether that's on television or in a backstage role. He must be of some use if the WWE want him back, but I don't expect anything decent to come out of it.

To me, Murdoch is the next Harley Race if he's used right.

He is certainly a very talented individual but in WWE, I'm sure he'll suffer from having a gimmick when in reality he's a man that needs no gimmick. It's kinda weird, I love Murdoch as a wrestler, but as a sports-entertainer, he's a little left to be desired imo.

Never been a fan of Murdoch, and much like you I'm kind of clueless as to what he could offer the E right now at this point.

I guess until it's official though there's no reason to believe anything.

Tbh guys... If you got a spare Thirty Minutes.. Watch this. Fantastic match between the GHC Champion Takashi Sugiura vs Murdoch.

Thanks for that eor. I will reserve judgement on Murdoch for now, because the first time around I saw him mostly in the tag team with Carde, maybe if he just does the Stan Hansen character again then it might seem a bit dated, but there might be more to him than that, lets give him a chance.

I like Murdoch, watched some matches in Japan and was wondering where that guy was when he was in WWE. He stands out from most wrestlers and has awesome sideburns.

Guessing Vince was a mark for Dick Murdoch, hence the reason for the gimmick. Vince is known for keeping people around because he likes them.
