I see there isn't much activity in the Off-Topic Discussion so I'll fire up a few threads here and there.

'Which tourist destinations have you been to? Which place would you like to go? Which was your favorite'

Coming from Melbourne, Australia. I've been to Sydney where I've walked on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, not once but TWICE! I've seen the lovely views, Opera house all of the stuff in Sydney. I've been to the Gold Coast (Famous for it's Theme Parks), I've also been to the Great Barrier Reef.

I've only been to one place overseas and that was Bali, I've been twice and I absolutely love the culture of the country. My favorite place would be Kuta, Bali. It has so much to offer especially if you're either a teenager or 18-25... The nightlife, the markets, the beaches... everything about it amazes me.

I'd love to go to Europe one day, it has a lot of attractions that I would enjoy. South Korea, Japan and China would be a nice destination to go to. I'd also go to India because I am strongly in love with the food and it's culture. The last places I'd go to would be America because it's not as cultural, I'd rather experience all the cultural stuff before heading to America. Perhaps a 6 month road trip around USA when I'm in my 40's haha.

Last year I went to Europe for a month with family. I spent ten days in Netherlands, a week in Paris and a week in London.

Netherlands was excellent and it was a shame we had so many family to see there because it meant less time taking in the sites. The train system is excellent so we went all over the country. The buildings there are stunning and I enjoyed simply walking through some town centers because of the history. Lots of museums and galleries and I will have to go back since I didn't see them all.

Paris was really good the only downfall was the number of tourists around but that was because I went in summer, the busy season. Really nice country to be in and I was able to test out my French which was fun. The food is stunning, you can go to any street corner cafe and get a delicious meal. I mainly went to the typical tourist locations since there wasn't much time to go everyone so I want to go back and go into the countryside. Plus I would love to watch the Tour De France in person.

London was again a great place to visit although the food there is shocking. I went to all the main tourist attractions and took in a West End show. Plenty of things to do and the Underground makes it so easy to get around.

I want to go back to all three places and I could easily live in any of those countries. If I had to pick a favourite it would be Netherlands because of my connections and because it is the most quiet place.

I want to visit more of Europe plus I want to go to the US and visit Las Vegas and New York.

Didn't know you were Dutch.

Hoe Gaat Het?

I'd love to go to Netherlands one day. A Contiki tour is something I'd want to do next year if I have the money for it.

Ik ben goed bedankje

Both my parents were born there but came to Australia when they were very young.

Another place I want to visit is New Zealand. A friend of mine went on a tour there last year and said that it was a great place to visit.

I went to Florida in 2005. I'd love to go back again.

Also want to travel to Australia one day.

Neither option is particuarly feasible right now though. Spain would be though. I'd like to go back there for a week or two.

Thought of another place I want to travel to, Macau. It is near Hong Kong and is where the Chinese go to gamble. I have an uncle that lives there so if I go I get free accomodation and can just gamble all day.

There haven't been many tourist destinations that I can honestly say that I've experienced. I've been to Spain, Canada (other various parts of Canada) and hopefully go to Japan sometime during 2012. There aren't that many tourist destinations that immediately come to mind at this moment. (I don't have much time to reply because I have to leave in a few minutes, so I'll edit this post whenever I have the time). A major tourist destination in Canada is the CN Tower in Toronto Ontario Canada, which held a world record for over 31 years and that's quite an impressive accomplishment. I've been there are few times and its really a monumental experience, because the view itself is astonishing and a very popular tourist destination in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
