There always has been the heel and the face roles in wrestling, which gives the match its emotion (except in some Japanese companies). both of those need some kind of reaction to succeed, whether it's a good one or a bad one. So, which one is more difficult to pull off?
For faces, they usually can get over with the fans quickly with their gimmick. If that doesn't work, charisma to get the crowd in it can get some plain, boring guy to have the crowd love him. or in some cases, like Evan Bourne, a cool move or just the way someone wrestles will get them over. but sometimes the crowd just doesn't care, like Shelton Benjamin's IC Title Runs.
heels can do the same with faces gimmick wise. something as simple as an anti-american can have fans booing him by his debut. in the ring, simple things like a spit to the face or dirty tactics can get the fans booing too. or a heel can get the "I hate your guts" type of heat by being a crappy wrestler.
so who has the harder job to do, the face or the heel?
