The first Season of Tough Enough was a big success in terms of ratings but pretty much a failure in terms of creating stars. The winner is barely on FCW tv and was even suspended for a Wellness Policy violation and other than hiring a couple of the female contestants WWE haven't hired any of the other workers. A 1.5 rating was around the average and a good result for a show on the USA Network. Nothing has really been said about a second season which I find odd. I thought that it would be a no-brainer to renew the show for another season.

- WWE Tough Enough trainer Bill DeMott said on Twitter this weekend that there is no new news on the next season of the show.

Reading things like this isn't good. I would have thought that a second season would be booked to run the same time as last season. The first season started the RAW after WrestleMania so it would be too late to have it organised by then. I hope that eventually they get a second season because I really enjoyed watching the first season.

Would you like to see another season of Tough Enough? Would you keep the host and trainers from Season 1?

The four worked really well together so they should keep the same group together. At first I was hesistant about Bill Demott but he was good as the tough trainer.

One thing that I want changed is the casting process. Rather than allowing the production company to pick the contestants I think that WWE should have a bigger say in who is on the show. They should chose a few people that they were thinking of signing so that in the end they might actually be able to sign a few of the better performers unlike this season where it was pretty much a bust.

Yeah I would keep the trainers and actually add McCool and Nash to the cast. I think they also need to give some of those who failed a second shot for entertainment purposes like Luke, Martin and Rima.

Well season 1 hasn't not worked out yet.

It took Maven a year.

Took Morrison a year.
etc

It's still at less than a year right now.

Besides it's really never been about the winners as much as it's been about seeing the training. At least for me.

I'd bring it back and use the same trainers.

Fair enough I should give Andy more time but I don't hold out much hope. I also can't remember the last time they didn't sign more than one of the male wrestlers from the show, normally they give three or four developmental deals.

I enjoy watching the training and that is why I watch it but I could understand it if WWE are a bit annoyed that they haven't been able to find any quality talents from the show.

Tough Enough Season 2 will most likely happen this year. I heard from Darrion Graneri (WWE Graphics guy) on Facebook that he has been invited to be part of Tough Enough 2 however they would need to find a replacement for him if that's the case.

Should be an interesting season if it's to happen.

I loved last year's season. It may have been a screw up in creating talent but it was a highly entertaining show and I would love to see it return. For the majority, I'd keep the same trainers. I wouldn't mind a fifth trainer as well. Maybe William Regal.

I've not seen it in anything legit about getting a new season.
